A timely reminder that Ed Miliband oversaw in 2015 one of Labour’s most stunning defeats since 1983. He resigned as leader. While I support todays actions a bit of good grace & decorum from him would be good. Starmer's election win put him where he is now. bbc.com/news/health-32633388

I’m 74, I didn’t think I would say this… but I believe I’m finished with uk politics. It’s a fucking cesspit of greed, incompetence and deceit. We had a chance with Sir Keir Starmer….that ended with Burnham.

You could literally see the “oh what have we done” on Alex Davies-Jones face 😂, on @GMB getting the treatment Starmer got but worse as Burnham’s “U-turns” are factually indefensible and Starmer’s were manufactured by the media. Oh what have you done @UKLabour @LBC

Don’t be ridiculous Chris. Old people and vulnerable were frightened unnecessarily for an imminent threat. It is for imminent threats not general information. He should grow some and do a proper press conference like Starmer would have done. Stop running scared of scrutiny

Andy Burnham is definitely keeping his promise to take the Labour Party back to the era before New Labour. You know, the one when it never won power. Dearie me.

I know many are saying I'm damaging the Party by criticising Burnham. Here's the thing..Burnham is the one who's already damaged the Party not me. Put the blame in the right place. Anyway, he wanted the job so he can ruddy well soak up the level of vitriol he plastered on Starmer

We’ve done a lot of things that make us look like tits on the world stage. The latest one was getting rid of Starmer

Question, for anyone remotely impressed by this: what are the odds, do you think, that Burnham will hear anything during these patronizing prole-wrangling sessions that causes a change in government policy? Yeah, thought so. "Do[ing] politics differently" = gimmicky TikTok shite.
When I said I was going to do politics differently, I meant it. Yesterday I spent a couple of hours in Cardiff city centre inviting people to ask me anything about my plans for the UK.

Starmer is currently collecting awards around the world for his service. Meanwhile we get this shite from Burnham. What the hell have Labour done? Not a serious party anymore, sadly.

Keir Starmer, please, please change your mind. Amongst the rank and file, I believe you would thrash Burnham. Demolish him. He is already spoiled goods and will see the demise of @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer @andyburnham

I’ve listened to Keir Starmers BBC interview again this morning. What a gentleman, a genuinely nice guy. The best PM this country has had in a long time, full of grace and humility. He can definitely hold his head high 👏👏👏

No ambiguity from me. I want Starmer to remain in post. If needed I want Starmer to stand. No coronation. I want to know who 350,000 Members want to lead them. I want process followed. I vote Starmer. I want my voice heard. I am a Member. Cut/paste/repost if agree

I will absolutely leave the Labour Party if @Keir_Starmer is undemocratically ousted by @andy4makerfield. This situation feels like a travesty of the values I joined @UKLabour for. We worked so hard as members to secure a Labour government.
