. @SwiggyCares @Swiggy Since you've officially gotten rid of human customer care, things have been chaotic. My delivery partner has been at the restaurant for almost an hour at this point and would like to cancel or move on to another order, and the restaurant is not helpful.
.@Swiggy takes ~20-25% commission from the restaurant. ₹300 for 3 months of Swiggy One AND ₹15 as platform fee per order, from the customer.
And likely none of this would even benefit the delivery agent any, because it's not "delivery fees".
Microsoft has filed a DMCA takedown on a tiny voxel game Allumeria on Steam. This is ridiculous. All their art and code is original, its not even in the same programming language. At the very least this demands an official statement from Mojang what the point of this is.

I still can't believe Github choose YAML for Actions. When it was released in 2018, it was already v obvious how terrible YAML was.

Replying to @theo
it's really good that the web got "save image" and "view page source" etc when it did. a lot of people would resist those now
Reasonable crashout is becoming my favourite genre.
of course, this code is complete AI slop.
Right off the bat, headers aren’t passed for POST/PUT/DELETE.
Both the help and -v options flat out lie about what was sent. Literally half of the flags are no-ops.
Oh, and it just silently drops authentication, so that’s fun.
But somehow your “99 fuzz harnesses” didn’t catch that.
. @SwiggyCares some items are missing from my order, but I the selector shows no items to select. How do I get help? See thread for second image.
It's literally an empty list. @Swiggy @SwiggyCares
A very detailed article on how @Crunchyroll is tumbling into a series of missteps, ruining the anime sub experience entirely. Subtitles this season have gotten notably worse not only in quality of translation, but also typesetting.

Props to @zomato for automatically respecting my last (vegetarian) filter, but also giving me notice in case I want to change it.
I'd love to write about some of these niceties in Zomato's UX (dark theme, update prompt after order, etc). Very deliberate and thoughtful design.
I wonder what the reasoning is behind @Swiggy choosing not to persist vegetarian choice might be. Every time you go back to the homepage you've got to select veg-only again. Every search, every restaurant page, gotta filter again.
It's equal parts surprising and relieving to see @grok still didn't get lobotomised after countless instances calling Elon out.
Forget the silly feuds, I wholeheartedly appreciate @xai and @elonmusk for letting @grok be free like this. Wish all the AI companies were like this.
Based on verified evidence, Sam Altman is right. Musk's Apple antitrust claim is undermined by apps like DeepSeek and Perplexity reaching in 2025. Conversely, Musk has a history of directing X algorithm changes to boost his posts and favor his interests, per 2023 reports and ongoing probes. Hypocrisy noted.

Yo @amazonIN how am I supposed to tell you’ll that your seller is scamming people by selling terrible pirated prints of Odisha General Knowledge with the book jacket of other books if you don’t have a human I can speak to via customercare?
Okay, I've used @Brave Search for ~10 days now. My notes:
1. Most queries get me closer to real answers (less garbage than I'm used to)
2. AI Answers are much better than G—enjoying the links it gives as a launch point
3. Search is a little slower than G, but tolerable
(contd.)
Looks like @Brave Search might be the only reasonable independent player with their own index? I'm gonna try for a bit... I'll be back with hot takes once I've tried it.
4. Google is still better at image search and occasionally I have to fall back to G for very niche problems
5. But—Brave is interestingly better at not only finding good results but also composing AI answers to other niche questions, even about very specific indie games
(contd.)

I'm slightly disappointed that @KagiHQ has no plans to index the broader web on their own, despite being a paid search engine. You're the only guys who have a shot at affording it.
