Herbury (The Fleet): singing Corn Bunting behind The Works, Wheatear, 3 Chiffchaffs. Also Grey Plover east. @DorsetBirdClub
Rodden Hive/ Moonfleet: quite birdy today, Black Redstart on Moonfleet Manor Hotel roof, fem. Goosander just off Rodden Hive viewpoint. Also 2 RB Mergs, f Marsh Harrier, 660 Coot, c.300 Lapwing, 2 Rock Pipits, Red Admiral. @DorsetBirdClub
Herbury: Black Brant with c.600 Brent's in field back of The Works (also leucistic juv. still present). Plus f Marsh Harrier, 2 Kittiwakes, 3 Black Swans. @DorsetBirds

Grey Phalarope swimming off Rodden Hive viewpoint 1300-1330, also 2 Barwits, 5 Clouded Yellows. At Herbury 3 Grey Plovers and Knot. @DorsetBirdClub
Herbury The Works: 2 Knot, 3 Grey Plover, 2 Barwits, 10 Dunlin, Redshank. No sign of anything blown in, Rodden Hive very quiet. @DorsetBirdClub

Rodden Hive/ Herbury: a bit samey this am ...Osprey fishing off the Hive 0830, also 4 Black Swans there. At Herbury juv. Curlew Sand, 4 Barwits, Whinchat, Wheatear, 11 Yellow & 7 White Wagtails, 2 Tree Pipits. @DorsetBirdClub
Rodden Hive/ Herbury: Osprey fishing off Langton Hive Pt 0945 then headed E. Greenshank Rodden Hive. In area 2 Brent Geese, 4 Barwits, Sanderling, Common Sand , 1w Y-legged Gull, Kingfisher, Yellow Wag, 2 Whinchat + late m Emperor D'fly. @DorsetBirdClub
Rodden Hive/ Herbury: some nice migrants with 4 Redstarts, 2 Spotted Fly's and 2 Whinchats together in a hedge back of Herbury and 4 Whinchats Rodden Hive. Also in area c.1000 Swallows, several Sand Martin's, c.30 Mipits, 3 Wheatears. @DorsetBirdClub
Rodden Hive/ Herbury: juv. Curlew Sand, 4 Barwits, Turnstone, c.1050 Med Gulls sheltering in bays (800 Herbury), Whinchat, 2 Spotted Fly's and a very wet Weasel! @DorsetBirdClub
Herbury: great set of waders at The Works low tide...ad. Curlew Sand, 4 Knot, 14 Blk-t Godwits briefly, 5 Barwits plus 8 RPs, Turnstone, 2 Sanderling, 41 Dunlin, Common Sand and Redshank. Also 5 Spotted Flys in Langton Herring

Herbury: 6 Pintail, 12 Ringed Plover, 5 Barwits E, Rock Pipit, also an Adder. Barn Owl on edge of Langton Herring 0745. @DorsetBirdClub
Herbury: still 2 Curlew Sands this afternoon, 5 Wheatear and influx of c.25 Migrant Hawkers. Nearby a Hobby hunting over Langton Herring. @DorsetBirdClub
Herbury "The Works": now 2 juv. Curlew Sandpipers with 19 Dunlin. Also Knot and 3 Barwits. Southern Migrant Hawker by stream inflow. Rodden Hive: 6 Spotted Fly's, 4 Wheater. No sign of any SMHs and a tiny example of Clouded Yellow (size of m Orange Tip) @DorsetBirdClub
Rodden Hive/ Herbury: Hobby and Spotted Fly on the circuit today, also Common & Green Sand, 3 Wheatears, c.15 Willow W. Still 2 Southern M Hawkers stream back of Rodden Hive. @DorsetBirdClub @BrownHawker
Rodden Hive/ Herbury: very quiet for birds with just Common and Green Sands, Dunlin and Kingfisher. But 3 cracking Southern Migrant Hawkers patrolling back of Hive reedbed. @DorsetBirdClub
