On Christmas Day, Maggie O'Connor's Spotify is now past 50,000 Monthly Listeners. Two tracks off the new 'A Christmas Duo' record that are both lead vocals by Maggie and I'm singing harmony got on major Spotify playlists—"The Holly and the Ivy" and "The First Noel".
The first night of two at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley was a dream... What an audience, and everyone just loved the program. Coming back to the old hometown, to a capacity audience there on a Monday night is just fantastic.
We're doing it all again Tuesday night.
We just arrived in Portland! Drove through some solid rain to get here, but when we arrived our our hotel suite, the sky was opening up, and look at that rainbow out our window across the city.
Look how full this Admiral Theater was last night for our 'An Appalachian Christmas' in Bremerton! This was really an amazing concert for us--it seemed that with each piece this audience embraced us more so, and by the end they were on their feet several times for encores.
We made it to Whidbey Island, and here is the view from our Airbnb of the Puget Sound from this island! There was a storm last night and most of the island is without power including us, and including the Whidbey Island PAC, but the venue has a generator so concert as planned!
El Paso, TX was awesome last evening for our 'An Appalachian Christmas' concert. Gorgeous hall at Univ of Texas at El Paso. A huge thank you to Promusica directors Zuill Bailey and Felipa Solis for inviting us for their holiday program this year!
Maggie and I joined world renown cellist Zuill Bailey for a reception tonight with donors of ProMusica who are hosting our Christmas concert in El Paso tomorrow night at UTEP Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall! 7:30pm (Mon. 15th). 'An Appalachian Christmas' continues...in El Paso!
A musical prayer for peace in our world.

Another incredible 'An Appalachian Christmas' staging last night at the splendid and historic 1927 Carolina Theatre of Greensboro. As delicious as this looked, it sounded even better in there with our single microphone filling up this hall fully.
