February 26, 1999 ... On this day, 23 years ago, my life was forever changed (almost ended) by a hit & run caused by a severely impaired driver. The road to recovery has been long. I still deal with residual physical & psychological trauma because of the collision. @maddcanada

Sometimes, God answers prayers through people who choose to care. A kind word, a helping hand, or a little generosity can mean more than we realize. “Lord, use me to be a blessing to others, and help me never miss an opportunity to show Your love!”🫶

A message for today … Your job is not your life. Take your breaks,enjoy your weekends, use your time off & protect your personal time. Take time for your wellness! You work for a paycheque , not at the expense of your peace, happiness or health! 👇🏻

Never underestimate the power of a hug. Human touch can soothe the soul, ease stress, and remind us that we are loved and not alone. Sometimes, a simple hug says what words cannot. Hug more. Love more. Connect more. 💗

A message for today … People show you who they are through their actions. Stop ignoring red flags or making excuses for those who repeatedly hurt you. Accept people for who they are, not who you wish them to be. Believe their actions the first time & choose your peace.👇🏻

I’m learning that a peaceful life isn’t a perfect life. It’s choosing less worry, letting go of a load to carry & trusting God even when I don’t understand His plans. Less worrying & comparing. More prayer, gratitude & Jesus. A quiet mind, content heart & soul at rest in Him.🕊️🫶

I think I notice the small stuff way more now. Someone making time. Feeling healthy. A random plan. Something finally clicking. But I still want more. I still want to grow, build & chase things. I just don't want to be so focused on what's next that I miss what's already here.
