Happily supported @woodlandcc #savetheevidence campaign in honour of my youngest's teachers this year. Our collective future depends on learning about & from our past and moving forward recognizing the many contributions made by Indigenous people everyday! #TruthAndReconciliation

We can get clean drinking water to the space station and construction on parliament buildings never stopped due to Covid so there is no excuse for this. Just a lack of political will and action.
Thanks @VaxHuntersCan and @regionofpeel. My teens are going to have a double vaxxed summer! One works in LTC and the other in the food industry and now they and those they interact with will be safer.
Excellent thread focused on destreaming, but really centered around UDL and best practices.

My partner & I are headed into this summer 2 x vaccinated and my teens are close behind. Grateful! However, I am painfully aware of the privileges I hold that made this possible. Please reflect on @sylviaduckworth's wheel of power/privilege as u think about your own vax process.
And if possible, try to help one other person expedite their vax process. Start by following @VaxHuntersCan 😀
We have our final meet tomorrow to reconnect virtual students and bricks and mortar students. Looking forward to saying hi to incoming 8s for 2021 from @VEWhdsb with student leaders from @MsJBays @tec_laren and @MrsHender13. @TecumsehHDSB #wearetec
Looking forward to this reading challenge with my children this summer. Thanks!

We all need support in our lives. Here are some ways it can look like:
I love @Hamilton_CA trails. We use them regularly. I was so happy to see others enjoy these trails since March 2020. I am saddened to see the decision made by @cityofhamilton to implement an ableist and ageist practice
whereby no one can park at the bottom of Martin Rd in Ancaster anymore. I have watched the age of participants on the trails there change drastically since the signs went up. This is not the Hamilton I want to live in. DO BETTER. #accessibilityforall @SusanJCreer @cityofhamilton

Thanks @RegionofHalton for my second shot. This feels so good! Do your part and get the shot! I am so happy I can help keep vulnerable people safe.
My child's class had dress up like your favourite storybook character today. My child picked a character from a @ShelSilverstein Poem. We had a hard time figuring out the costume and understanding that the clues might be a bit obscure for his 4 and 5 yr olds. @matheson_amyc
