Fall leaves may look harmless, but they can clog storm drains and contribute to localized flooding. 🍂 Keep leaves and yard waste out of streets and storm drains by mulching, composting, or bagging them for proper disposal. A little cleanup can make a big difference!

🌿🍂 Yard waste doesn’t belong in creeks or storm drains! Disposing of leaves, clippings, or brush this way can harm our waterways and community. Do your part—dispose of yard waste the right way!

Cleaner water. Healthier communities. A legacy worth protecting. Today marks 54 years since the Clean Water Act became law. At MSDPC, we carry that work forward every day by treating wastewater, improving infrastructure, & protecting our shared waterways for generations to come.

🥂 Imagine happy hour without water. No ice in your glass, no soda to pour, and no water to wash up afterward. On Imagine a Day Without Water, raise a glass to the water and wastewater services that make everyday moments possible. #ValueWater #ImagineADayWithoutWater

🧼💧 Clean hands start with clean water. This year, #GlobalHandwashingDay falls on #ImagineADayWithoutWater, a reminder that something as simple as washing our hands depends on reliable water services. At MSDPC, we’re proud to do our part by treating wastewater.

A day without water is a day without: ☕ morning coffee from your neighborhood cafe 🚿 a shower 🍝 dinner with friends #ImagineADayWithoutWater reminds us how water shows up for all of us–everywhere, every day.💧

🌱 Green doesn’t always mean clean! Grass clippings left in streets can wash into storm drains, carrying fertilizer and pesticides into our creeks and streams. They can also clog drains and contribute to water pollution that harms aquatic life.

#ImagineADayWithoutWater is on October 16th! Just like food fuels our bodies, water fuels our communities. Imagine a day without water — no cooking, no cleaning, no hydration. It’s essential to life, health, and growth. Let’s not take it for granted. #ValueWater

Everyday choices can have a big impact on the water environment. 💧 Oil poured into storm drains, excess salt on pavement, & too much fertilizer or pesticide can all pollute waterways. Use these products responsibly, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
