15 when it started.
35 today.
Two decades between these faces.
Maybe one day I’ll believe he’d be proud.

But still — I’ve kept going. Somehow.
Even on the days it didn’t feel worth it.
Even when I felt like I had nothing left.
Even when I wished I could just press stop.
20 years of MRIs.
Brain’s “fine”.
Also apparently a 35-year-old lady.
Still mislabelled. Still fobbed off.
Living just to reach the end — while professionals disagree or barely listen.
Should feel victorious. Or grateful.
But I don’t.
A small win in a miserable life.

Every day I feel hurt of comparing what I used to be able to do (physically and mentally) and the hurt that I’m now restricted from this, for health reasons unconnected to MS. I’m very sad.
I continue to try accept this and hopefully these little bits can help chip away at it.
