@ACLU's Yasmin Cader on bringing the joy this upcoming election:
I remember the first time I brought my kids to the polls with me and let them watch the process. It got them excited. It was democracy in action.
So demonstrating that and really relishing the honor we have as citizens to engage and participate.
And bringing the joy!
We've got to bring the joy!

Deirdre Schifeling (ACLU): In 2024, Missouri enshrined reproductive rights. This is an attempt by the legislature to take that away. And they tacked on a gender-affirming care ban for minors so that they could pretend that it was about that, run millions of dollars of ads, and try to obscure the fact that this is, in fact, an abortion ban.

Ballou on Epstein Files: They say that the universe of reviewed documents was 6 million documents. That said, that’s only the documents that they said were relevant to the Epstein investigation. The actual universe of relevant documents may be even larger than 6 million.
Brendan Ballou on the new House Judiciary Democrats’ Epstein Report:
They really went for it in that report.
It's gratifying to see both the focus on this issue and also the investigative work that the House put into this. And it shows that they're actually putting resources behind this whole effort, which is very good to hear.

So, clearly, this Department of Justice and this president see this as a very risky case, and they are willing to fight as hard as they possibly can on it.

Popok: Now we know why he doesn't want the other Jane Doe, who says that when she was 13, she was sexually abused by Donald Trump and assaulted by him, why he doesn't want those files to be coming out at any moment now, Judge Sullivan's files are going to be coming out.
Popok: Almost immediately, within an hour after losing, Flavio became Fly-vio.
He flew to Argentina, according to reporting with his wife and two young daughters, and is now in Miami because the United States government, Marco Rubio, gave him visas.
Lisa Graves on Republicans in Wisconsin:
They did not want the students to vote. Why? Not because they hate students, although, you know, arguably some day of the week you might think they do with their student loan policies and more.
But in reality, it's because the students tend to vote Democratic. So it's just another way to try to shave off 1%, 2%, what have you, of the vote based on a ridiculous, absurd, debunked lie or myth that supposedly students are voting twice.

Popok: I thought Natalie Harp was just Donald Trump's office wife, went with him everywhere, hid in a giant, catering container when he was trying to leave one Air Force One for another, wrote all of his social media posts, including while he's up on stage.
But now it appears from a new filing in the Kennedy Center litigation.
