I don’t know the boundaries of anyone’s relationship so this could all be fine but I’ll just say this, cheating on a reality show is wildly embarrassing.

Devin Walker walked into this podcast and left having confessed to crimes against reality television that I was not prepared to hear. Let me take you through what happened. We started where all great conversations start. Old stories. Specifically, drinking Heinekens on Rivals 3 like two men who had absolutely no idea that the footage was going to be watched by other humans someday. Look, you make choices in the moment. You do not always make good ones. The Heinekens were good ones. Everything else is up for debate. We then spent a meaningful amount of time grieving. Specifically grieving the shows that got away from us. If you have never sat across from another Challenge veteran and looked each other dead in the eyes while silently mourning the wins that evaporated in real time due to circumstances that were either completely insane or deeply unfair or both simultaneously, then you have not truly lived. We have both experienced the specific trauma of being about to win and then watching the universe decide that actually no. Not today. Not ever. Go home. Then Devin did something that I genuinely did not expect. He told the whole Vanderpump Villa story. And I mean the whole story. The backstory of how it came to be. The decisions that were made. The moments where things went sideways. And then, in a move that was both shocking and genuinely impressive, he took accountability. Real accountability. Not the fake TV accountability where someone says sorry and then immediately explains why it wasn't their fault. Actual accountability. For the major parts that were on him. I sat there watching a man look directly into the sun of his own choices and just stare at it. Respect. We then pivoted to what can only be described as a support group for people processing the accumulated pride and embarrassment of watching Challengers go on other reality shows and do exactly what you would assume Challengers would do if you had met any Challengers for even five minutes. There is a pattern. The pattern is consistent. We are a specific type of person and we behave in specific types of ways and apparently other shows did not get the warning memo and honestly that is on them at this point. We also discussed the moon landing. I will not tell you where we landed on that. You are going to have to listen. What I will tell you is that the conversation went places that NASA would find deeply uncomfortable and we are not sorry. We wrapped up talking about Devin's new podcast and his new co-host Pauly, which is a combination of human beings that I think raises a lot of questions and answers absolutely none of them and I mean that as the highest possible compliment. Overall this episode was two Challenge veterans sitting in a room being completely feral for an extended period of time and calling it content. It worked. Go listen to it. @MTVDevinWalker

Here’s how I got here Olivia’s been public enemy #1 from the start and is literally pregnant Nany has been carrying the PM portion (everyone’s favorite) of the show on her own Theo eliminated 1/3 of the house Turbo manipulated the entire house and just rips one liners
