Rural Livelihood Strengthening | Latur District On-Site Inspection of Agricultural Equipment Banks 📅 Date: 28 October 2026 📍 Mavalgaon, Andori & Dhaswadi | Ahmedpur Taluka Under the project “Strengthening Rural Livelihoods in Aspirational and Farmer Suicide-Prone Districts,” an on-site inspection of proposed Agricultural Equipment Banks was conducted in Mavalgaon, Andori and Dhaswadi villages of Ahmedpur taluka. Ms. Adv. Bhagyashree Khanolkar, State Manager, visited the selected institutions shortlisted by the state committee following the taluka-level evaluation. The inspection covered site verification, registration documents, undertakings and other necessary records. Discussions were also held with women members of the Village Organisations to understand their proposed activities, responsibilities and future plans, while addressing their queries. The visit was attended by representatives of the institutions, Shri Karve, Taluka Manager, MSRLM; Ms. Panchshila Bagul, Regional Coordinator, VSTF; Shri Kashinath Rathod, Taluka Coordinator; and Shri Kondiba Kotgir, Cluster Coordinator. Mission Mahagram | Latur District Field Visit & On-Site Inspection 📅 Date: 29 October 2026 📍 Cherra, Jirga & Hokarna A field visit was conducted to three Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) in Latur district: Namu Agro Farmer Producer Company, Cherra; Late Devidas Ramrao Pawar Agro Farmer Producer Company, Jirga; and Hokarna Agro Farmer Producer Company, Hokarna. The visit was undertaken by Ms. Bhagyashree, Senior State Manager; Shri Sanjay Patil, Taluka Agriculture Officer; and Ms. Panchshila Bagul, Regional Coordinator, along with the respective companies' Board of Directors. The team conducted on-site inspections and held detailed discussions regarding the progress of the companies, future activities and necessary follow-up actions. The inspection findings were also discussed with the Taluka Agriculture Officer and shared with the Block Development Officer. Mission Mahagram | Latur District On-Site Inspection of Farmer Groups and Women’s SHG 📅 Date: 30 October 2026 📍 Kawali, Killari & Lamjana | Ausa Taluka Under Mission Mahagram, on-site visits and inspections were conducted at the Yuva Shetkari Savings Group in Kawali, the Jhanshi Chi Rani Women’s Self-Help Group under Killari Gram Panchayat, and the Vinadhari Women Agro Producer Company in Lamjana. The team interacted with the respective Board of Directors and reviewed the organisations’ activities. The inspection was carried out by Senior State Manager Ms. Bhagyashree Khanolkar and Regional Coordinator Ms. Panchshila Bagul. Detailed discussions were held regarding upcoming activities and future plans. The inspection findings were also discussed with the Taluka Agriculture Officer. Mission Mahagram | Jalgaon District 📍 Field Visits – Day 2 📅 Date: 14 October 2026 📌 Jamner Taluka Field visits were conducted in six villages under Mission Mahagram: Kektanimbhora, Palskhede Budruk, Gondkhed, Waki Budruk, Waki Khurd and Hivarkhede Budruk. During the visits, Gram Panchayat offices, Zilla Parishad primary schools and Community Resource Persons (CRPs) from women’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs) were engaged in discussions on proposed development works, appropriate utilisation of CSR funds and livelihood initiatives. The papad-making activity in Kektanimbhora and the food processing unit in Palskhede Budruk were also visited.
