Melissa trailed 20-7 at one point but that's well in the rearview as it puts together 35 straight points. After forcing the Bulldogs to punt for the 1st time, Jeremiah Tabor breaks off a 70-yard TD run.

Bulldogs commit their 4th turnover of the ballgame, and this one's costly. North takes to the air on 4th-12, but a PBU by Dekerrion Woodard sets up an INT by D'Monye Washington that's returned 80 yds for the pick-6.
Melissa 28, McKinney North 20 @ 9:59/3Q
Cardinals get a 68-yard kickoff return out of halftime and are back in the end zone six plays later after a 2-yard TD run by Jeremiah Tabor. That's 21 straight points by Melissa.

HALF: Melissa 21, McKinney North 20
North piles up 271 rushing yards and led 20-7 at one point, but three lost fumbles by the Bulldogs + three rushing TDs by Melissa QB Turner Wilkie have the Cardinals ahead at the break.
Yikes, McKinney North breaks off a 23-yard run to get down to the Melissa 3-yard line but loses its 3rd fumble of the half on the next play. Cardinals get the ball back at their own 7 with 25 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, leading 21-20.
Melissa 21, McKinney North 20 @ 2:18/2Q
Costly sequence for North. Melissa had 4th-5 at the MN44 but manages to draw the Bulldogs offsides to move the chains. One play later, Turner Wilkie scores on a 39-yard TD run to give the Cardinals their first lead of the ballgame.
McKinney North turns 1st-25 into 4th-5, but in running a reverse, loses a fumble to give Melissa the ball at its own 41. Second lost fumble of the half for North, which leads 20-14 @ 4:11/2Q

A pretty blatant roughing the kicker against PC on 4th and 18.
Frisco makes the most of the fresh set of downs, Cowan gets the sweep and reverses for the score.
McKinney North 20, Melissa 14 @ 8:38/2Q
Cardinals answer in seven plays, six being runs, as Turner Wilkie logs his 2nd rushing TD of the half after scoring on a 4-yard run.
McKinney North 20, Melissa 7 @ 11:02/2Q
Bulldogs with a little misdirection and Amari Young houses one from 60 yards out to extend the lead for North, which is already up to 187 rushing yards just under 13 minutes into the ballgame.
End 1Q: McKinney North 13, Melissa 7
Cardinals driving but face 4th-2 at the MN41 when play resumes.
McKinney North 13, Melissa 7 @ 2:26/1Q
@MNHS_Football is back in front, facing 3rd-goal and turning to QB Campbell Seyb, who keeps it for a 5 yd TD run to regain the lead. Bulldogs have a miscue on the PAT snap, however.
