particularly its emphasis on inclusivity & addressing the pressures of the cost of living. He also conveyed Malaysia's readiness to share its experience in the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) in support of Lebanon.
Drawing on the similarities between Malaysia & Lebanon as multiethnic and multicultural societies, HE Anwar Udzir took the opportunity to explain the Malaysia MADANI concept under the leadership of Prime Minister YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim
Both sides also noted that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Defence Cooperation is underway, building on Malaysia's participation and experience in UNIFIL through the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT)
The Ambassador highlighted opportunities for greater trade and investment; capacity-building through the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) including in areas of interest to Lebanon; and cooperation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

Recognised as the largest Arab global economic gathering dedicated to economic, investment and financial development, the International Economic Lobby offers an important platform for fostering connections and advancing cross-border economic opportunities
Both sides exchanged perspectives on the potential for greater business engagement, economic partnerships and closer cooperation between the private sectors of both countries
Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral trade and investment opportunities, including encouraging Lebanese businesses and investors to explore Malaysia as a strategic destination for investment
The meeting provided a valuable platform to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and explore avenues for strengthening economic relations between Malaysia and Lebanon
