Our charities are key players in the delivery of our public services. Future reforms must recognise this by providing key third sector operators with the funding and security they need to continue their great work in our communities.
Strong article in the Daily Express today, โDictator Swinneyโ has no idea, no plan, and no ambition for Scotland, only name calling and useless punch lines!

Democracy deniers in action! @theSNP are complete hypocrites, claiming they want inclusion but meanwhile using language that tears our communities apart. They should be ashamed of themselves, they are an embarrassment to Scotland and have no place in government. We will be heard!
Many of my constituents are worried about mass data centres blotting their landscape. They deserve more than the blame shifting that was seen in the response to my question today. The SNP must keep their promise and release guidance before the end of parliament this year.
Grateful for Fife Council Leader Cllr David Ross to join us at todays committee on local government reforms. A lack of proper resourcing from the SNP Government is majorly responsible for housing targets not being met, which will affect the most vulnerable in our communities.
Today's verdict from our experts at today's committee couldn't have been clearer: unless councils are given the funding they have urgently needed for years now, the SNP's attempts at local government reforms will simply fall flat.
Fantastic to support Scottish farmers today in Parliament by speaking to the excellent ambassadors for the NFU, agriculture and farming is an indispensable part of the British economy and we must do everything we can to buy homegrown and homemade produce!
Victims of domestic abuse need urgent and critical assistance, with council tax debt being a massive financial burden. These issues are too important to be delayed by needlessly lengthy consultations.
The Scottish Parliament must do the right thing and support my colleague @ThomasKerrMSPโs amendment to help those suffering with addiction. 1,133 deaths is 1,133 too high, the Scottish Government and @theSNP must do more, now!
Was great to attend a tour of the research labs at Dundee Universityโs School of Life Sciences with my colleague Helen McDade and other MSPs.
Parkinsonโs research is making excellent progress here but need to ensure more joined up working across the whole NHS in Scotland.
The Scottish Government has utterly failed to address Scotland's housing emergency. Councils and housing developers must be given the freedom to build more houses quickly to serve our communities.
Breathing space? This new budget is an insult to the British people and the incompetents in @UKLabour are responsible for leaving Scotland out of pocket and losing out. Courage is the missing ingredient. Only a @reformparty_uk government in Westminster would sort this mess!
It is hugely important to support all veterans and current servicemen and women of the British Armed Forces who have bravely sacrificed much in service to our country, they must be shown the full respect they deserve! ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐ฌ๐ง
It is hugely important that third sector organisations are more closely connected to our local councils, so that both can effectively deliver for communities up and down Scotland.
Cllr Julie MacDougall MSP retweeted
Labourโs budget will do nothing to fix broken Britain.
Only Reform UKโs Economic Rescue Plan will deliver the radical change needed to save our country.
Littering and fly-tipping are a scourge on our communities and bring down the quality of local areas immeasurably. The Government must enforce the maximum possible penalty and keep our streets clean!
Cllr Julie MacDougall MSP retweeted
A lot of great stuff here
