ALT It may look like X from Mega Man X, but it's actually Zero in an X costume. When Marvel vs Capcom 3 originally released in 2011, Zero was the only playable character from the Mega Man franchise, and only used X's design as a DLC alternate costume, despite X being one of the most requested characters at the time. This artwork attempts to evoke a similar resonance in a humorously ironic manner due to the parallel of X being an alternate costume for this specific Zero moveset mod for Smash Bros Brawl. the X model was originally imported from Smash 3DS/Wii U by a Brawl modder named @Jaystring , with some heavy texture edits to better suit Brawl's aesthetic of stylized realism. I made render artwork in collaboration with @MG64BrawlModder who imported that model over the recently Zero moveset mod for Brawl and Project+, by rendering X's model using the same render setup I made for Zero.

ALT Zero has 21 additional palette swaps reference Zero's appearances throughout all of his games and crossovers, with 3 colors being original takes on certain references.
