I finally feel good about fighting Min Min

Update from Bungalu’s quest to feed himself: We have liftoff! Keeper Jonas helps him find the right position, waits until he’s drunk enough to lighten the load, then lets go – and Bungalu takes over like a pro! His trunk is still too short to wrap around the bottle, so he cleverly uses his two ‘fingers’ to grip the handle. He’s such a smart, determined little elephant. We’re proud of him – and he knows it! Before his rescue, Bungalu spent weeks alone, trying to fend for himself. Still milk-dependent and terribly vulnerable, he somehow survived a lion attack and earth-shaking storms. Now, he has the round-the-clock care, companionship and love he needs to grow up strong and, one day, return to the wild. You can be part of his journey, too. This little fella had a second chance at life thanks to the Sheldrick Trust. He is an orphan currently being raised at the trust and will one day join over 200 orphans who have returned to the wild. [📹 roan.carrhartley]
