So, a few days ago, the @CashmereLabs team released their roadmap with more details about the Goat Street NFTs and the CashmereLabs ecosystem as a whole. One thing that stood out to me was the introduction of a soulbound NFT called the BARN. The article shared some information about it, but I don't think it fully detailed the utility of the BARN NFT yet. According to the information released, there is going to be a raise where users can purchase the BARN NFT at a cost of 0.125 ETH for GTD users, while FCFS participants and the public will have a higher entry price. There will only be 1,000 spots available. Not just that, participants in the BARN raise will also be eligible for the @CashmereLabs airdrop. The question now is, is it really worth it to participate in the BARN raise or nah? Here is my take on it. If we look at it critically, it is quite obvious that the raise could be very profitable for the 1,000 users that get in, especially the GTD users. -> Here is why. Firstly, the NFT costs about 0.125 ETH. When you consider the possible airdrop value, coupled with the fact that BARN holders will be able to mine $CSM at a 3x rate, which is the highest rate available, it starts to look very interesting right? Morealso, for BARN holders to claim the $CSM token they mine, they will need to burn the soulbound NFT which means you can't just keep mining and sell in your mined tokens in perpetuity. Love it I would say uhn? Bullish right? Secondly, Goat Street NFT Activators will also receive an airdrop. However, without the BARN NFT, they will only be able to mine $CSM at a lower rate to usersthat have a BARN NFT. Thirdly, Goat Street NFT holders will also be able to mine $CSM tokens at 1x rate by binding their NFTs. Looking at all these, I believe those who buy the BARN NFT and the Goat Street NFT Activators are positioned to get the most value out of this. Long term CashmereLabs users who have been supporting the ecosystem for a while could also have something coming their way. Those who have all the 3 airdrop criteria could be eating big, who knows? Another thing to note is that $CSM is starting to look like it could be relatively scarce. These are just my views so far based on the information shared by the CashmereLabs team.
