So - today marks a year since we were last on site. It’s been a weird one...but the thought of being back is what keeps us all going...so, here’s a few snaps to remind us of why we do what we do...and yes, that is a full size lobster lodging a complaint in the Organiser’s Office!
The events industry is ready and able to return safely.
A pilot exhibition in September:
✅ Followed the All Secure guidance
👥 Welcomed 13 exhibitors and 300 delegates

The £70 billion event industry is being called upon again to support the NHS Nightingale effort..
It HAS BEEN absolutely pivotal in the UK's COVID-19 recovery..
It CAN BE absolutely pivotal in the UK's economic recovery..
but we must act now to protect it!

...viable businesses impacted by government closure decisions get targeted support, however, exhibitions companies have been forced to close since March.We are seeking urgent clarity from the government as to whether these latest measures will be applicable to the events sector
COVID-safe events have taken place successfully across Europe:
- MICE event @HeaventMeetings
- Caravan Salon Show @MD_GmbH
- @IEGexpo's Grand Lodge 2020 meeting
The UK events industry is being left behind.
@BorisJohnson we need support!

@RishiSunak interesting “Ask me anything” @LinkedIn session today. I reckon over 50% of Q’s were about the revival of the UK Exhibition, Conference and Events industry worth £70billon. Not one question answered. Attached picture compares UK to Europe and events. #WeMakeEvents – at Newton Mearns, Scotland
