Basic things need to be addressed, i.e. status of the fire, what is the plan/expectation for today, preliminary estimates of damage, best guess on return to the homes that are left, potential for additional evacuations, etc. Even if no firm answers, some information would help.

Tantallon: respectfully, the municipality needs to seriously step up its public information operations, forthwith. Getting tons and tons of questions from concerned residents, some of which could be alleviated with more proactive communications. Very little info coming out of HRM
