As a member of the Minority Caucus Sub-Committee, I was privileged to take part in extensive deliberations with the Catholic Church, Church of Pakistan, ARP, Salvation Army & leading Pentecostal churches on the Christian Family Laws Bill 2026.
Tomorrow, the Bill—moved by Deputy Speaker Anthony Naveed—will be introduced in the Sindh Assembly, taking a major step towards replacing 150+ years of colonial-era family laws with a modern framework protecting dignity, equality & family rights.
