That Bo Nix run reminded of something I was thinking about before this game: We’ve basically all forgotten that Mahomes came back from that knee injury in 9 months. After game 2 it felt like that story was gone. We’ve heard about Nix’s ankle, Maye’s shoulder, other carry over injuries. But Pat is basically not talked about as either still getting over an injury or or as someone with any signs of decline with how quickly he’s returned and how great he’s looked. Pretty incredible
What does play calling verbiage/terminology have do to with Bo choosing not to throw to open receivers?
Per @JayGlazer, the #Broncos changed their offensive terminology when Davis Webb became OC in the offseason. When Sean Payton took play-calling duties back from Webb, he switched it back to his terminology.
All the changing verbiage has played a role in Bo Nix’s struggles. Payton is confident Nix will be fine.
That was one of the best drives I’ve seen from the Broncos in a long time. No penalties or anything either. Really good drive there.
Maybe I don’t know the rule there but what does the ball being tipped or not have anything to do with what else happened on that play?
I’m not gonna lie this looks like the exact same QB we’ve seen all year. Almost all of these clips are Bo passing towards the sideline, corner of the endzone, and rolling out to his right. Not much happening in the middle of the field…
Only because Bo came into the league older than Bryce will people say it shouldn’t need four years to really figure it out, but seeing this from Bryce this year and what Bo has shown flashes of is why I say stay patient.
I honestly don’t know what my opinion is on him at this point. I don’t love the idea of paying a guy who refuses to use the middle of the field (sure some play calling and drops) and still seems to want to leave the pocket as quick as he does at times…
I think you wait as long as you can if you’re the Broncos. See what he does finishing out his rookie contract. We’ve seen the player he can be, it just needs to be consist. And I’m not sure why it’s not, whether it’s something with Bo, play calling, personnel things on field…

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.
