The groundbreaking documentary by Lebanese journalist @radwanmortada about Israel’s pager attacks is now available for English speakers.
3 weeks after it was released, the Israelis looted and then blew up Radwan’s house.
Tomorrow pro-Israel fanatics will release a propaganda film in U.S. theaters about the criminal pager attacks.
Watch Radwan’s movie instead ⬇️

If you work at JSOC or the CIA, take a good look at these fishermen you tried to kill. Why did you try to kill them? Is it because you are stupid, bad people who lack decency and morals? Yes, definitely. But also because your intel is dogshit and AI is just making it worse.

I learned about this incident from our Boy in Brazil, Caio Almendra and was dumbstruck, but just hearing about it doesn't quite do it justice.
10 years ago, @FlavioBolsonaro ran for mayor of Rio de Janeiro. In the debate, he passed out & shit his pants (yes, really). One of the candidates was a doctor & tried to help. His dad, Jair, yelled "communist, get your hands off my son!" & "01, did you turn yellow? Do pushups!"

For the Alabama House Speaker to come out against Kay Ivey, Alabama’s billion-dollar (plus) prison must be going horribly wrong. If only someone had tried to warn them. 🧐
I think the world of Governor Ivey, but her administration’s handling of the construction of Alabama’s two new men’s prisons is flat out wrong.
Taxpayers deserve to understand what has transpired during the failed construction of the first facility before they are asked to foot the bill for a second.
Below is a letter I shared with her before today’s Alabama Corrections Institution Financing Authority meeting.

🚨 donate urgently and directly to the children of gaza! 🚨

💔 Donations have nearly stopped, but thousands of hungry children in Gaza are still waiting for food.
As food assistance continues to decline, displaced families are struggling to provide even one proper meal for their children.
🍚🥩 In Gaza, a plate of meat and rice is no longer an ordinary meal. It has become something countless families desperately dream of after long days of hunger and deprivation.
Imagine a mother sitting inside a displacement tent, watching her hungry children fall asleep without a filling meal. She has no meat, no rice, and no way to promise them that tomorrow will be better.
Imagine a little child standing in a long line, holding an empty plate, patiently waiting for a portion of food that might be the only substantial meal their family receives.
💔 We continue preparing and distributing meals of meat and rice directly to displaced families across Gaza.
We are a group of young Palestinians working from inside Gaza. We prepare the meals ourselves, travel directly to displacement camps, and place food into the hands of hungry children and families in need.
But the reality we face is becoming more difficult every single day.
🚨 Donations have stopped coming in, while the number of families asking us for food continues to grow.
Every meal requires ingredients, preparation, transportation, and financial resources. Without donations, we cannot continue the distributions that so many families depend on.
💔 What a child eats today will not ease tomorrow’s hunger.
The meals we distribute are finished within hours, but the next morning, those same children wake up hungry all over again.
🍚🥩 We urgently need your help to continue distributing meat and rice to families who have almost nothing left.
Every contribution, no matter how small or large, helps us purchase food, prepare more meals, and reach more children.
Please, don’t wait until we are forced to stop our distributions.
🚨 If you have ever wanted to make a real and direct difference in the life of a hungry child, this is a moment when we desperately need your support.
Please donate, quote this post, repost it, and share it with your friends. Add your own words and encourage others to help.
Your voice could reach someone who can make our next food distribution possible.
We cannot feed Gaza’s children without donations. But together, we can keep these meals reaching them. ❤️
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to those who continue helping Gaza’s voices reach the world:

And to everyone who donates, shares our posts, and stands beside the hungry children of Gaza: your humanity and generosity help us continue this humanitarian work. 🤍🇵🇸

The non-working upper class, the rentiers, are far more parasitic on society than the extremely small non-working section of the lower class. It is a major focus of propaganda to convince people that the opposite is the case. Nations aren’t weakened by the small fraction of GDP spent on food stamps, they are weakened by their rentier class. The stronger this class becomes the more it entrenches itself, the more it drains from the real productive economy.
Revolutions disrupt this. They clear out large swaths of the non-productive idle rich. They give opportunities to people of great talent who would otherwise be shut out of the system. This is why the United States, France, Russia and now China became vastly more powerful in the years after their revolutions. It is why all of them became nicer places to live with better metrics for health and education.
It is why China’s prosperity and power today is completely interlinked with Mao’s policies. Deng’s market reforms were all well and good but Mao did the heavy lifting when he cleared out the landlord class. Landlords are parasites. They contribute nothing to society and are in fact a net drain. This has been recognized by classical economists including Adam Smith and David Ricardo.
There is a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth in the west about how China is finally economically powerful enough to choose not to do business with people who insult them. International football clubs worth billions now have to grovel and apologize to China. Good. These are the rewards for power in the international system.
If the West is so terrified of China’s power and of its values then why not emulate the policies that made them so powerful in the first place? If our western values of free speech and association are worth defending then why not clear out the idle class of landlords and rentiers who weaken them and our societies every day?
If we cannot do that then there is no point in complaining. China will supplant us because their economic system works better. And that’s how it should be.
