Earlier this week, we attended @BuildingNews's Building the Future Commission Conference. Great to hear the Commission call for boosting MMC uptake, better resourcing in the planning system, and a joined-up net zero strategy for building.

Great to see our @CITB_UK Levy recommendation adopted by the APPG for SME Housebuilders in their new report on finance (an excellent overview of the challenges faced by smaller builders). This is a practical solution that would reduce unnecessary costs for #modular providers

Housing is more unaffordable now than at any time in the last half century. It's been this way for nearly 20 years. Why? In part, because housebuilding rates are at a historic low. We need politicians to act now to ramp up the supply of new homes and make housing their priority.

Monday's ‘The Mayfair Hotel Megabuild’ (@BBCTwo) showed how #offsite building can be a perfect solution in complex, technically demanding builds. The façade of @ClaridgesHotel's 4-storey roof extension was built offsite with traditional materials to match the Victorian original!
