Discord is making messages from public servers discoverable on search engines like Google starting this November. Server admins can opt channels out starting today. Users can opt out of sharing their messages in settings -> Data and Privacy.

Do it before mid-December: Discord applies the setting when you send. Switch it off now and nothing you post later shows up. Switch it off later, and anything sent while it was on can stay public unless you delete each message. Toggle and Discord's exact wording below.

Those servers have already opted-in to publicizing their server content and presence via the “Discover” tab and the server page on discord.com/servers.
