I really want to get married to a career woman. I want to attend events where she'll speak so I can tell everyone that she's mine❤️
Don't want someone who'll quench her dreams because of marriage and family. Need someone who , together, we can grow in our respective careers. – at East, England

What’s a polite way to tell someone, “I’m not discussing this with you because your entire understanding of the subject is built on so many interconnected misconceptions that correcting them would require uninstalling your current worldview and starting the tutorial from birth”?

I like how he said "passing the baton". Not one place did he acknowledge elections or the people's choice. Just them picking the next amongst themselves😂😂
Most of you know this story, but none of you have heard it from me.
Back in September 2018, Femi Hamzat wanted to be Governor of Lagos State. He had thirteen years of public service under Asiwaju and BRF, with the record and backing to win. Then party leaders asked him to step aside for me.
It takes a rare man to put down what he wants without nursing a grudge. Femi shook my hand and five weeks later, agreed to run beside me. I have never forgotten that.
Anyone can read a CV but only the person in the room with a man when the cameras leave can tell you who he really is. For 2,711 days, I have been in that room with him.
When COVID-19 hit, when we faced our hardest weeks, when the Blue and Red Lines ran and when the Lekki Deep Sea Port opened, Femi was there. Long before any ribbon was cut, he was asking the tough questions an engineer asks.
In many states, deputies are kept in reserve. On day one, Femi promised to be the best deputy governor in Lagos history. He kept his word. In seven years, there has not been a single day I wondered whose side he was on. We have had one government, one direction, and one voice.
Lagos runs on a relay system. The baton is never passed to a runner standing still. You run at full speed inside the exchange zone, together, before the pass. That is how Lagos has been governed for 27 years, from Asiwaju to BRF, to Ambode, to me.
Femi is a deputy governor like no other. He built the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge under Fashola, digitized government under Asiwaju and holds a doctorate in engineering. His father served Lateef Jakande. This is in his blood.
Critics say Lagos keeps choosing from the same pool. I say Lagos trains its people. With major projects underway and a master plan stretching to 2052, this is not the time to experiment. What Femi presents today is not a campaign promise cooked up on a bus, it is the next leg of a race we have been running since 1999.
Lagos does not hand the baton to a man standing still. Today, you have seen the man who is already running. Let us move forward together with The Lagos PROMISE.

There is this guy in my church who came to me to ask for my number about two weeks ago because he needed me to get something done for him. I punched my number onto his phone and I asked him to call or text me so I can be able to get his number too. By the time I got home, I saw a WhatsApp message from a 234 number, and he said that was his number. I just ignored him. I didn't even reply and I'd never save that number into my contact list.
Dude has been in the UK for four years now and he is still giving his Nigerian number to people in the UK with him. Or is it because I'm a Nigerian like him that he was texting me with his 234 WhatsApp number? I know he would not do that if it was a Brit that he had exchanged a contact with. Except for my very close friends and family members, I don't entertain any 234 messages on my 447 line. Let 234 messages be directed to my 234 number, biko.
It's funny how it's you people that started calling him Messiah and still accuse others of seeing him as their messiah.

I’m ashamed to tell the story of how he demoted my uncle from Principal to Primary 3 school teacher for eating students’ WAEC money. He came to the family compound to ask him if he’s mad.😩🤭.
It didn’t stop there, he was dismissed on voluntary retirement and all the money he
I schooled in Onitsha High School, Onitsha. One morning, the principal Mrs Julie Ofoefuna informed us that Mr Peter Obi was coming to our school because the Senior Prefect called him and reported that the school building was at the verge of collapse which was true. We thought it was a joke because my school was one of the local schools then, we said” the governor has not finished visiting CKC, DMGS, St Charles, QRC”etc these are best schools then.
By 12:00pm that day, he landed with Dr Kay Onyechi the state commissioner of basic education, he inspected the school. He said he will return after two weeks. Two weeks passed we didn’t see him, we took his words as normal Nigeria politicians 😭😭😂.On the third week which was school closing period, he landed. He came like a thief, no motorcades or sirens blowing ” he apologized for coming after two weeks, he said when he learnt that the school was in exam period, he decided to wait but to come after exam. In the end, he gave more than enough for the school renovation. He asked us what we wanted for lunch, nobody could mention any reasonable food. He gave each student ₦100 for snacks.

The future of AI cannot be truly global while billions of people are still excluded by language.
Next week I’m speaking at the Commonwealth Business Forum in Antigua and Barbuda (2 to 4 November), alongside #CHOGM2026, on unlocking the Commonwealth’s creative potential.
At @plotweaverapp, STORM-OS powers voice agents, storytelling, localisation and media production in more than 70 languages. Through our developer APIs, anyone can build on it, so the next wave of innovation rests on the foundations we are laying.
While the world races towards Venus, Africa cannot afford to be stranded on Mars. We must not just be included in the global AI economy. We must help build, own and shape it.
In Antigua? Let’s meet.
Build Once. Speak Every Language.
