KENYANS IN THE USA LINKED TO A MASSIVE STUDENT FINANCIAL AID FRAUD SCANDAL
A major financial fraud investigation in the United States has put several Kenyan nationals under the spotlight over allegations of participating in a multi-million-dollar student financial aid scam.
According to US authorities, the alleged scheme involved creating fake student identities, enrolling fictitious students in American colleges and fraudulently obtaining government-funded student loans and grants. Investigators say some of the proceeds were transferred to accounts connected to individuals in Kenya.
The wider investigation, known as Operation Ghostbusters, has uncovered hundreds of thousands of potentially fraudulent financial-aid accounts, with estimated losses potentially exceeding $200 million.
The revelations have raised serious questions about identity theft, international financial networks and the misuse of American taxpayers' money.
Those accused must face due process, and allegations should not be treated as convictions.

π¨ BREAKING NEWS: TENSIONS RISE IN BORAMA AMID MOYALE CONFLICT
Reports circulating on social media allege that Oromo residents in Borama are being forced to leave their homes, with houses reportedly set on fire amid rising tensions linked to the ongoing Moyale conflict.

MOYALE:- THE INEDIBLE FRUIT.
The Moyale issue is a wake-up call to all Somalis irrespective of clan, or ountry. When ABIY Ahmed's regime cancelled the special 40-40-20 power sharing arrangement of DireDawa Administration in a dramatic Move in a shame "conference" to rubber-stamp the Oromo sinister ambitions whom he is serving as a flag bearer with little or no opposition to the proposal, it was clear that huge areas of the Somali regional State could be targeted by his goon's in Oromia regional State as "theirs". That pessimism has materialized but now in the wrong choice.
Moyale is an inedible fruit for ABIY Ahmed's OROMMUMA crowd. Moyale is and has been a Somali territory since it's inception. However, after the ethnic federalism was promulgated in Ethiopia the then EPRDF administration following a claim raised by Oromos, decided ton a political arrangement that could settle the armed conflict in the area.
Five years ago, ABADULA GEMEDA, former Oromia president, in an interview with OMN confessed the Somali ownership of the town, to which "boranas leaved in the sorrounding countryside" he added.
However, the Somalis agreed to the halve-halve arrangement where the Eastern half was administered by Somali and western half by the borana.
Albeit, all that compromise, BORANA claim to the renewed after Abiy Ahmed came to power. They say the"moment you settle for less than you deserve, you will get even less than you settled for". The borana prodded up by ABIY Ahmed laid a claim to the entire town. Somalis said no and never. That culminated to the recent attacks by Oromos militias attacking not only the town, but the entire Dawa zone of Somali regional state. Their claim was upgraded from Moyale town to the entire zone. Six days of fighting ensued, but the Oromos yet have to capture an inch of Somali territory. Then came the cease fire, "a lasting solution" rhetoric. The dice is cast, but rest assured that Moyale shall never be the next Diredawa. Hard lessons had been learnt.
Such expansionism Manuevres has no place in today's politics. Theft and forceful annexation of Somali territory must stop with an immediate effect.
The rhetoric of "keeping what's in your hand and claiming the rest" can only put fuel into the fire.
When the existing so called "Federal government" is not willing to discharge it's responsibility honestly and with equality it's imperative upon every man to defend his family and property. That is a blessed act and is hailed high in every moral ground.
If "disgruntled activist turned politician" doesn't want to go with the existing administrative arrangements when he clearly knows that he had the advantages in the initial arrangement, is not contented with "one part of the small town divided by the Asphalt", he has absolutely no rights to stir the peaceful coexistence of the people under the false pretext of "hoisted flag".
You knew that the "other halve" of the small town had it's own flag to hoist, but unfortunately, you want your flag hoisted and try to refuse the hoisting of the other. That isn't rational.
The question must be, Who are you to deny the hoisting of that other flag, when you are using yours?
RESPECT IS TWO WAY TRAFFIC. You respect me and I will do the same. But when you feel that "some animals are more equal than other" and try to achieve some sinister ambitions with goals and means that compromise the rule of law, governmental responsibility, and political arrangements, by FORMENTING Chaotic false flag unrest, tie the hands of security agencies that could have stopped the Carnage and eventually use STATE POWER to grab "the second part of the small town, partitioned by the tarmac road" as a war booty for your clan, then you should know that you have relinquished national responsibilities for clan interests.
In such a case, your legal, and morall integrity to continue as A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT COLLAPSES!! β at Mandera, Kenya
πΈπ΄π°πͺπͺπΉ MOYALE: UNDERSTANDING THE SOMALI PEOPLE, SOMALIA AND THE SOMALI REGION OF ETHIOPIA
To our Kenyan brothers and sisters, let us understand one important distinction: Somali people, the Somali Region of Ethiopia, and the Republic of Somalia are not the same thing.
The Republic of Somalia is an independent country. The Somali Region is an administrative region within Ethiopia, predominantly inhabited by ethnic Somalis. Meanwhile, the Somali people live across Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti and other parts of the world.
Moyale is a border town shared by Kenya and Ethiopia. On the Ethiopian side, areas are administered by both the Somali Regional State and Oromia Regional State. Therefore, saying that a place is in Ethiopia does not mean its inhabitants cannot be Somali.
Being Somali is an ethnic identity; being Kenyan or Ethiopian is a nationality. A Kenyan Somali can proudly be Kenyan, and an Ethiopian Somali can proudly be Ethiopian.
When discussing Moyale, we must distinguish between ethnic identity, regional administration and international borders. Recognising Somali identity does not mean confusing the Somali Region with the Republic of Somalia.
Our message is simple: respect the identity of the Somali people, protect civilians, and resolve territorial disputes peacefully and lawfully. No community should be dehumanised because of its ethnicity.

BREAKING NEWS | JIGJIGA
Videos circulating on social media reportedly show people identified as Oromo fleeing from areas outside Jigjiga city. The incident is being linked online to the ongoing conflict in Moyale, although that connection has not been independently confirmed. β at Mandera, Kenya
MOYALE IS NOT IN SOMALIA, BUT ETHIOPIA HAS A SOMALI REGION! πΈπ΄πͺπΉ
Kenyans taking sides in the Moyale debate need to understand the geography. Ethiopia has both the Somali Regional State and the Oromia Regional State, and Moyale is a border area associated with communities on both sides of the regional boundary.
Saying that Moyale is not in the Republic of Somalia does not mean that Somali identity, Somali communities, or the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia do not exist.
Let us separate national borders from regional identity. Somalia is a sovereign country, while Ethiopia's Somali Regional State is part of Ethiopia. The discussion about Moyale must recognise these distinctions and respect the communities living on both sides of the border.
πΈπ΄πͺπΉ Geography matters. History matters. Somali identity matters.
Imagine calling the police because a 3-year-old is too good at football! πβ½ β at Mandera, Kenya
A 3-year-old boy named Nevada has gone viral after his family reported police were called to his youth soccer match in Florida because other parents complained that their 5-year-old children couldn't get the ball away from him. β½
Nevada was playing in an i9 Sports youth league against older children when the said incident occurred.
According to his family, the toddler kept possession of the ball so effectively that some parents became unhappy with his performance.
His parents questioned why adults would involve the police over a three-year-old simply playing soccer. They also alleged that their family was subsequently barred from returning to the field.
The story has sparked debate online, with many people questioning why a toddler's soccer skills would cause such an unnecessary controversy and call for the police.
What do you think about this situation?
I STAND FIRMLY WITH HON. FARAH MAALIM!
I fully support Hon. @FarahMaalimM right to speak openly about Moyale and its Somali πΈπ΄ identity. Our history, identity, and heritage cannot be silenced by condemnation or political pressure.
If the Borana Council of Elders intends to issue a statement against him, then our Somali elders, intellectuals, and professionals must also stand up, speak with one voice, and respond firmly and confidently.
We will not shy away from discussing our history, identity, and the place of Somali communities in the region. These matters deserve an honest, fact-based discussionβnot intimidation, hostility, or attempts to silence differing views.
I call upon our elders and professionals to rise to the occasion, defend the right to express our communityβs perspective, and address this matter with courage, dignity, and unity.
Our identity is not a matter to be discussed in fear. Our voice must be heard, our history must be respected, and our leaders must not remain silent!

Leadership is not about the power you hold, but the responsibility you carry. Public resources are not personal property, and public office is not a private business. Leaders must account for every promise made, every shilling spent, and every project delivered. The people deserve answers, not excuses.
