Lisburn-based electrical specialist Camlin Group has revealed plans to create at least 100 more jobs as part of a £20 million self-funding investment
But its boss insists the move “is just the beginning”, as his expectation is to triple the size of the business within the next three to four years.

‘Real earnings in 2023 were no higher than 2006, so almost all of this real increase has come in the last three years.
Real earnings increased by £23 (3.1%) in 2026, following rises of £20 (2.8%) in 2025 and £6 (0.9%) in 2024. This follows falls of 3.7% in 2022 & 0.7% in 2023.’
Wage increased in NI outstripped those in GB with private sector wages at their highest level on record.
