Trick-or-Treating: There are no designated trick-or-treating hours in Maple Shade. We simply ask everyone to be respectful of their neighbors and observe the traditional "lights out" signal at homes that are not particip!ating or have finished handing out treats.
Maple Shade Township would like to remind residents of the following curfew hours:
Mischief Night – October 30: 8:00 PM Curfew
Halloween – October 31: 9:00 PM Curfew
Today, the Maple Shade Police Department partnered with the Steinhauer School to conduct a routine, planned school evacuation drill. We want to extend a huge thank you to the students, faculty, and staff for their incredible cooperation and orderly response today.!

The annual Maple Shade Halloween Parade is tomorrow at 215pm along Main Street. There will be parking restrictions in effect from 12pm to 4pm on Main Street and the detour route.
During Teen Driver Safety Week in New Jersey, remember that fall evenings bring lower visibility and more people walking and biking. Use extra caution at dusk. Every person on the road is someone’s loved one. #SafeRoadsNJ
Maple Shade Police are on scene of a water main break in the center median of Route 73 near the Cinnaminson Township border.
The inner lanes of both northbound and southbound Route 73 are closed due to flooding. Additional lane closures and significant delays are expected.
Recently, we have seen an increase in individuals riding e-bikes, ATVs, and bicycles on athletic fields, causing damage to playing surfaces and other facilities.
If you witness someone riding an e-bike, ATV, or bicycle on the fields please contact MSPD directly at 856-234-8300.
