I'm that old, I was there when it happened.
Can I ask a DUMB tech question? Why is the Windows main drive called C:? What happened to A: and B:?

859 Dad's cooking and it comes with a side of crisps. Their faces 🤣 My greatest culinary triumph.

858 Tiny St Michael's at Warndon, along with the oldest Yew trees in Worcestershire. The target for an All Hallows pilgrimage.

Think this deserves a rewatch.

855 I was in the Two Chairmen on Tuesday. I didn't down a pint in one and then tip the dregs on my head. Then again, I'm not the Chancellor of the Exchequer. As disappointingly as performative as the Tory power stance.

Ooh, a Halloween tick list. Right up my street 🤣
Lee Brickley, a local author, has recently published The Black Country Haunted Pub Guide. It tells the ghost stories, legends and histories of 35 pubs, with an illustration for each. dudley.camra.org.uk/viewnode…

854 My favourite fiction book of the year. A superbly executed twist at the end making me want to start reading it again.

853 The Amblecote Triangle is quite a thing. Four back street boozers, great beer, keen prices. The Robin Hood a Telegraph Top 500 pub. A Mappiman Top 10. Bathams and/or Sarah Hughes dark ruby mild showing off the best of the Black Country.

851 Strong start to S2 of This City Is Ours, with the tensest car wash ever. Could have done with a recap before diving into the story though. Can't quite remember everything from S1.

850 Doomscrolling at a new level on Twitter tonight, nuclear war, alien attacks, internet going down along with the electricity and my favourite, a super moon causing earthquakes. Should have accepted my brother's invitation of pub.

849b A day ticking off new-to-me Good Beer Guide pubs in Coventry. The Broomfield Tavern appeared to have no keg at all. Unique?

847 Train to Worcester FG cancelled at Gloucester, so find myself at Worcester Parkway. My vote for the worst station in the land. It's cold, hardly anywhere to sit, the cafe shuts at 2 and there is no need for the sign to the loos. You can smell them before you arrive.
