Thank you to everyone who came to my Dads Celebration of Life @BrentfordFC last night, braving the weather and some having travelled miles.
You did him proud.
Club were fantastic, as always, in helping me put on the evening. ❤️🙌 🐝
Trying reading deeper. Nothing to do with them. Only thing you are right about is they were correct.

You automatically jump to totally the wrong issue. Nothing to do with that. Soft but red. No complaints from me on that.
When Bees were in The Championship I would read about fans of certain clubs in the @premierleague talking about a ‘Big Club’ bias from officials.
At the time I felt that was likely to be untrue.
I was 💯 wrong!
It exists and is getting worse 🥴
Subconscious maybe. It’s there!
Thank you for your support today 🙌
52k know about Wolfie and 1200 with kind words 😍
It helped us through the first 24 hours.
Pet grief is like no other, not everyone gets that, yet you guys do!
Wolfie was the Clooney of greyhounds, a beautiful boy with a big heart ❤️ 🐺 🐾
Three weeks ago my amazing Dad left us at 93.
Today Wolfie joined Dad to keep him company.
Both had exactly the same personalities - charming, happy, kind, loving and always greeted you with a smile ☺️❤️
Only memories plaster the wounds and thankfully there’s bucket loads ❤️
Took this photo of our lovely Wolfie earlier today.
The past week he hadn’t been well and not eaten, yesterday or today.
On the way home from the Vets he passed away in the car, which I only knew when I got home.
Beyond heartbroken 💔
Fly high Wolfie, my boy, my son 🌈 🐾
Dereks Champ follows up on last weeks win and the brilliant, evergreen Brentford Penguin dominates from trap rise for another facile victory.
Then Dereks Legend completes a hat trick in style @centralparkdogs 🙌
Dad still working magic from above 😇👏🏻
Well done lads 🐾❤️👏🏻
Table Tennis England was saddened to learn of the passing of former England international Derek Burridge on 17 September 2026 aged 93. Born in Harlesden,... tabletennisengland.co.uk/new… ❤️❤️
DEREKS CHAMP wins @BetwayTowcester this afternoon, the Helen & I took a trip to @centralparkdogs to watch DEREKS LEGEND follow up on last weeks win.
A simply amazing 24 hours ❤️🐾
Well done Dad 😍
A big thank you to @BrentfordFC and Peter G for the lovely tribute to Dad at half time last night, along with clapping from our wonderful fans.
Thank you all so much, you did a great man proud.
Giving Dad an assist for last nights win but a great second half from the Bees 🐝 ❤️
Today we lost one of the sweetest and kindest gentlemen you could ever met.
He loved @brentford, greyhounds and golf, worked so incredibly hard and everyone loved him.
RIP Dad. I am beyond fortunate to have you as a Dad and friend, thank you being you. Miss you xxx ❤️
My first football hero who became a great friend to Dad and I.
A kind, humble, engaging and very funny man. Was loved by all ❤️
RIP Bobby, a true Bees legend always in our hearts 💕
All hail the veterans!
The incredible Brentfordpenguin made it 6 wins from 7 in a flying time @BetwayTowcester whilst classy Kody won @HoveGreyhounds in a smart 29.13.
Phenomenal performances from the dogs & Teams Dartnall and @reesgreyhound ❤️🐾
Geaaan the old boys!! ☺️
Always great to be back at The G-Tech for our beloved @BrentfordFC and very impressed by the team who hammered Eintracht Frankfurt 7-0.
Great signs for another successful season in @premierleague against the big boys.
COYB 🐝
5 wins (and a second) from last 6 starts for the incredible, evergreen Brentfordpenguin @BetwayTowcester this afternoon, in his own named race!
4 1/2 years old and running at the peak of his powers, incredible work by The Dartnalls.
What a greyhound 🐾🥰
