We don't have to guess what kind of governor @DavidCCrowley will be, because we've already seen it. As Milwaukee County Executive, he cut property taxes, expanded affordable housing, and made health care easier to reach.
His opponent, Tom Tiffany, votes with the extreme MAGA agenda 100% of the time, driving up your costs on everything from groceries to health care. David will lower costs and put Wisconsin families first. That's the choice.
Sign up for a volunteer shift at wisdems.org/volunteer, and bring three friends with you. That's how we win in November.
Let's get to work!
I get it, the Governor’s race is interesting and there’s plenty to cover.
But nearly 300 Milwaukee kids received FREE eye exams AND brand-new Ray-Ban prescription glasses today and tomorrow at Silver Spring Neighborhood Center.
A media advisory went out. Not ONE Milwaukee media outlet showed up.
We talk constantly about investing in our kids and highlighting positive things happening in our neighborhoods. Well, this is what that looks like.
Nearly 300 kids are seeing a little clearer today. That’s a story worth telling too.
Do better smh….@CBS58 @WISN12News @tmj4 @fox6now

I’m honored to have Governor Evers' endorsement and ready to work hard for all Wisconsinites day 1.
Stop it with this “establishment” crap!
If you’re supporting another candidate, that’s fine, please don’t diminish @DavidCrowleyWI and the work he’s done for Milwaukee County.
Anyone else feels that another statewide Debate is needed?!?
An hour is CLEARLY not enough to speak on issues that matters the most!!
#WIDemGovDebate
This is a reach….
In the words of the late, great Bob Uecker, “swing and miss,” for Crowley in his re-launch announcement. It was almost entirely SE WI focused. “We don’t have to win every county.” How ‘bout, we’re going to compete in every county? Barely a, if at all, mention of affordability issues. Nothing about connecting with the everyday struggles Wisconsinites are facing. Basically suggesting if Rep. Hong wins it’s because “the GOP picked their candidate,” which is a huge diss of & to the organization Hong has built. That alone splits the party. Rattles off a list of accomplishments with no specific examples. Then finishes with, “I’m David Crowley, endorsed by Tony Evers…” Really?! He wants to run on being Evers’ pick? Okayyy.
I said when he got out, I thought Crowley was the greatest missed potential in this race & also had the greatest potential for the future. From what I’ve been told by those who know & have watched him, his first try was over-handled by consultants & not enough of “David being David.” I don’t see any lesson learned in race 2.0.

Today, I'm endorsing @DavidcCrowley to be Wisconsin’s next governor.
I'm urging Wisconsinites to join me in uniting and supporting David in the upcoming August 11 primary and the November election.
We’ve got a lot to do and only a short time to do it, folks. Let’s get to work!
Today I released a statement to help clear up confusion surrounding the proposed redevelopment discussions at Midtown Center.
The proposal being discussed is not the type of large-scale “data center” many people have seen in national headlines. The project currently under review is expected to have a much smaller footprint, limited power demands, and a proposed self-sustaining cooling system.
That said, residents deserve more information and transparency before any decisions are made. For that reason, this matter will not be heard at Monday’s City Plan Commission meeting.
I remain committed to ensuring the redevelopment of Midtown Center benefits both the surrounding neighborhoods and the City as a whole, while protecting residents’ quality of life and addressing concerns of other impacts.
As summer approaches, let’s continue working together to keep our community safe and positive for our young people. A reminder that the City Code of Ordinances includes accountability measures related to ongoing juvenile misconduct.
This is always a last resort. Our focus remains on prevention, engagement, and ensuring our youth have positive opportunities to thrive. Parents and guardians play an important role in helping guide our young people toward success.
Let’s stay proactive, supportive, and committed to safe neighborhoods for everyone.

As dedicated public servants, we feel passionately about the City of Milwaukee and our role in shaping policy within it.
However, we do need to be sure we are balancing that passion with a spirit of collegiality, and both I and Ald. Zamarippa have an opportunity to better represent our districts in this way.
Though it is true that we both raised our voices in reflecting how strongly we felt about our position on the issues, it is a mischaracterization to suggest that because I am a man who raised his voice, anyone was in harm's way or their safety was in question.
