She was given two to five years. Well, today marks the 12th anniversary of my wife’s brain tumor diagnosis. It has been quite the odyssey. Leigh is my hero and an inspiration to so many. markgodich.substack.com/p/tr…

Great read. Only one word in here disturbs me—quite literally
Good morning. @NotJackKemp is ripping off the Band-Aid: Brian Schottenheimer is not the guy, and he's never going to be. Excellent, necessary words that Jake didn't want to write but did anyway. dmagazine.com/sports/2026/11…

Hard to do. But I’ll be damned if they didn’t pull it off.
And the show has reached a new low

In the last hour, I’ve confronted two young people who have pulled into handicap parking places to pick up food. They seemed to think putting on their flashers was good enough. I’d gladly trade our handicap plate for the alternative. You would, too. Rant over. Carry on.

And then not-so brilliant clock mgmt at the end of the half. A perfect storm
Bad and dumb is not the best formula.

Name me a coordinator who has done a better job than @MizzouFootball DC Corey Batoon. Replaced every starter on defense this year. On Saturday, A&M snapped it 19 times in the second and third quarters and netted one yard. One! Aggies had a whopping 2 first downs thru 3 quarters

Yeah, what team in its right mind would want to have a defense like that?
Mizzou won the superbowl last weekend. Looks like crap today of course

Shoutout to @RTrombley_MIZ and his team. Didn’t think the mini-movie from the 2023 Tennessee game could be topped. Yet here we are. Pure cinema.

Doubling down from last week
Houston has no timeouts remaining. Brian Schottenheimer decides to attempt a 65-yard FG after having a 62-yarder blocked on previous possession. Brandon Aubrey misses. Texans get short field & a FG to go into half w/ a 16-6 lead. Game management?

Most impressive defensive stat of the day: Jaden Baugh finished with 13 rushing yards on 12 carries. He got 12 of those yards on his first carry. Think the @MizzouFootball defense shored things up on the tackling front.

Hey, @OldTakesExposed, there’s so much fodder in this one that I lost count
I didnt realize until this week that Missouri has some of the most delusional fans in College football Anything can happen in CFB, obviously Florida or Mizzou can both win this game. But idk why Missouri fans act like their QB is some generational talent that Florida cant get past?? like they didnt just put up 52 POINTS against the #4 team in the country and the ACTUAL Best QB in the country (Trinidad Chambliss)? Sure, Austin Simmons is good but yall need to stop acting like he is a threat that Florida cant get past🤣 Humble yourselves before Jadan Baugh and Duke Clark do it for you😂

Might even move up. Can’t wait for the outrage.
Drinkwitz is definitely gonna say something in the press conference.

RT from y’day: Saturdays in the fall are all about college football, and for two decades Matt Moore was a huge part of it with @SECOfficiating. Below is my ode to an angel. Thanks to @acaseofthegolf1 and @markbaldwin1 for the providing the platform to tell Matt’s story.
A SEC referee, a golfing buddy, a friend, a mentor and the basketball nets. @MarkGodich writes about a friend gone too soon and the legacy he left behind. I’m honored that Mark asked us to post this for him. Bring a tissue. mondayq.com/story/guardian-a…

We can all learn something from the way Matt Moore lived his life. Thanks to @acaseofthegolf1 and @markbaldwin1 for the opportunity to tell Matt’s story.

Outstanding work here. And no better Tiger to narrate it.
The next great memory is always waiting. Welcome to the 100th anniversary of Memorial Stadium 🏟️

As Paul Harvey liked to say: And now you know the rest of the story …
Kansas cast itself as the Union Army in a hype video. The 'Union Army' then lost by 17 at home. Grant did not have this problem. Also the team they called "wrong" is named for a Union militia. They had all week to Google it. #Mizzou

And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this. It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership. Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Schooled on the football field. Schooled on the video. THIS is how you do it. A masterpiece. Come for the beatdown, stick around for “Carry on My Wayward Son.” Pure genius!

Jerry Jones once famously said that 500 guys could coach the Cowboys. Three decades later, I think it’s safe to say that 499 of them would’ve gone for it on that fourth and inches.

Netflix went full Friday Night Lights for their season opener and it is glorious. Coach Taylor for the win. Kyle Chandler with a perfect voice over. Clear eyes... full hearts... can't lose.
