Jonathan Mitchell’s Writ of Erasure Fallacy was key in bringing long dormant pro-life laws back to life after Dobbs. When a law is “struck down” nothing is actually struck, it is enjoined.
Replying to @EWess92
🔥Chief Judge Pryor has what the people have long been clamoring for: A judicial opinion expanding and elucidating Jonathan Mitchell ("some genius" per Justice Kagan) and the writ of erasure fallacy. This three page concurrence is a must read. I expect to see it cited a lot

The number of marriages has declined, and so has overall happiness.
It’s not surprising that close friendships have also declined over the past several decades.
Be countercultural. Reject isolationist propaganda. Love more. Embrace commitment and community. Get married and build a legacy of your own.
Our Department of War takes drug trafficking cartels seriously, except when it comes to the Criminal Chemical Abortion Syndicate. That needs to change. It is time for raids, arrests, and the tearing down of every illegal abortion drug laboratory and manufacturing plant in this country. In addition to this, our federal government needs to actively prevent illegal abortion drugs from entering this country. Simple solution. If we just Comstocked everyone violating the law, 5 years imprisonment for the first violation and 10 years imprisonment for each subsequent violation, we would see a whole lot of change in this world.

BREAKING: @KenPaxtonTX announces a “historic” settlement with Texas Children’s Hospital that will create the nation’s first “Detransition Clinic,” ban the hospital from providing “gender-transition” services, and require the firing of five doctors
The Criminal Chemical Abortion Syndicate is arguing a loss of profit due to laws prohibiting their criminal drug trafficking operations.
The Criminal Chemical Abortion Syndicate is in direct violation of the federal Comstock Act by mailing abortion-inducing drugs across the United States in what could easily be described as the largest drug-trafficking operation in the history of the United States.
We should not even be having a discussion about an unreasonable stay right now. Members of the Criminal Chemical Abortion Syndicate should be immediately arrested. They should face 5 years in prison for their first offense and up to 10 years in prison for each subsequent offense. To restore the rule of law in this country, these drug-trafficking kingpins must be comstocked.
Regarding the stay itself, Justice Clarence Thomas said it well when he said, "Applicants are not entitled to a stay of an adverse court order based on lost profits from their criminal enterprise. They cannot, in any legally relevant sense, be irreparably harmed by a court order that makes it more difficult for them to commit crimes."
And, as it was said by Justice Samuel Alito, "lost sales in States where abortifacients are generally illegal are not 'irreparable injuries' that can justify granting a
stay."

Today I spoke directly with Acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas.
He told me he regrets work he performed as an outside attorney for Planned Parenthood in Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando v. MMB Properties. He shared that he was assigned to the case by his law firm, performed work on it, and ultimately regretted his involvement because of his moral opposition to abortion. He then asked his superiors to remove him from the case. He said that he is pro-life and cares deeply about the pro-life cause.
I also raised the urgent crisis of the abortion pill. Nearly 11% of women who take mifepristone experience serious adverse events, and the abortion pill has killed millions of American babies. Diamantas told me that reviewing the abortion pill is a top priority for him and the administration.
We and millions of Americans across the nation who value the right to life expect the FDA to take serious action to protect mothers and their preborn children.
The 5-3 vote in favor of the measure made Brownfield the 96th city in the nation and the 79th city in Texas to pass an ordinance outlawing abortion. While the council originally rejected the measure in a 5-3 vote on April 2, the citizens of Brownfield did not let that vote be the end of the story. liveaction.org/news/brownfie…

If this stands, this is a win for babies & their mothers across the country.
Restoring the rule for in person exams & distribution of the abortion drug is common sense for many reasons including since this is how Drs determine if there’s an ectopic pregnancy, which could be life-threatening if untreated.
Ultimately, we oppose this drug because its primary purpose is to cause the death of another individual human being. However, this ruling is a good step towards restoring a basic safeguard waived for a political & ideological agenda.

.@SecKennedy is cleaning house and will sweep out ideologues like David Chelmow who claims abortion is “essential reproductive health care.”
Babies in the womb are not a “preventable disease” so let’s get some restorative reproductive medicine experts on the Task Force instead please. That would signal true respect for women’s health. #MAHA

‼️Birth rate dropped another 1% to record lows. @nytimes says it reflects empowered women merely delaying births but the cesarean delivery
rate increased to 32.5% and preterm births remain a dangerously high 10.4%. Repeated c-sections and risky births tend to suppress overall fertility, so babies delayed end up being babies denied—this helps explain why most people report that they wish they had more children than they have/had.

Background: A lawmaker in Lea County, NM filed a joint resolution that'd permit three or more contiguous counties to secede from their state. Lest it be confused as a meme, @Burrows4TX is serious about that possibility (as little chance as that has to materialize). #txlege
New Mexico Senator David Gallegos (SD-41) would make a great Republican Senator for the State of Texas. Once Lea (pop. 75,151), Eddy (67,759), Chaves (63,697), and Otero (pop. 68,823) counties become a part of Texas, the counties could be incorporated into Texas Senate District 29 -- which is currently held by Senator César Blanco, a Democrat from El Paso. That would add over 275,000 people to the State of Texas and allow us to turn Senate District 29 from BLUE to RED.
Senator David Gallegos helped lead the charge in seeing Lea County, the City of Hobbs, and the City of Eunice pass local Sanctuary for the Unborn ordinances in New Mexico and was also involved in the effort to see Lubbock County become a Sanctuary County for the Unborn. His commitment to protecting pregnant mothers and their unborn children from the violence of abortion and his commitment to the oilfield industry would make him a perfect fit to help represent the shared conservative values of Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas.

Jace Yarbrough is committed to LIFE in his race to become the next U.S. Representative for Texas Congressional District 32. I am thankful Yarbrough has taken the Hyde Amendment/ Comstock Act Pledge!
After the vote, Borden County Republican Chair Diedra Parks shared: “I am proud of our county for taking a pro-life stance and protecting the unborn babies. Babies are our future. If we do not have babies, what do we have?”
