BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Democratic Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari wants to pause advanced AI and ban superintelligence on day 1.
AI investment makes up about a third of all US economic growth this year.

$NVDA down over $8.00 today and I still don't want to buy it this time because it could be the beginning of a bear market for the stock.

I'm staying away from anything #Elon now since the Dems are now 100% in Complete Control for at least the next 4 years+.
They are going to go after him.

This is a watershed moment.
You want to buy companies run by Liberal Leaders that are going to benefit from the Dems controlling the country.

Monday the new auto money comes in and it should last into Tuesday and there's lots of bargains out there.
If the market doesn't bounce that would be a bad sign.
If Nov turns out worse than Oct that too would be a surprise.

I bought some $AMZN here over night at $226.
Could bounce from it's capitulation?

Look for stocks that are outperforming on a day like today.
Not making new Oct lows.
Those will be the ones that will trade strong into the close of 2026.

Elon just said that most neoclouds will eventually die.
And we might already be seeing it play out.
Even if AI is the biggest tech revolution of our lifetime, that doesn't mean every company building AI infrastructure will survive.
Some will thrive. Many will struggle. Most will be liquidated.
And we've seen this before during the internet boom.
The internet changed the world, but plenty of companies that built the infrastructure went bankrupt along the way.
This time won't be different.
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

I don't think this is the #AI Crash.
This is just a Big Oct Drop.
The market should bounce back fast after Oct.
When #AI crashes.
It's going to be very bad.
There could be a 30%-50% market drop.
Like when the Market dropped in 2000 when the Internet Bubble popped.
But no one knows exactly when that will happen.
Most likely in spring 2027 at the earliest.

So a lesson to be learned from this weekend.
-Perps are not accurate
-Perps are a form of manipulation
-When X is fearful, you should be bullish
-Just because everyone is saying something doesn’t mean it’s true/going to happen.
The market CLOSES on Friday and OPENS on Monday.

🚨 NEXT WEEK COULD BE BRUTAL FOR THE U.S. STOCK MARKET.
Wall Street is already under pressure from rising inflation, surging bond yields, and growing concerns about the AI debt boom.
And several major events next week could trigger even more volatility.
MONDAY: U.S. markets reopen amid rumors of a major AI fund blowup, although no collapse has been confirmed.
TUESDAY: ADP employment data and U.S. housing data. Weak numbers could raise fears of an economic slowdown just like 2007-08.
WEDNESDAY: U.S. oil inventory data and a $13 BILLION 20-year Treasury auction. Weak bond demand could push yields even higher, while low inventory data could pump oil prices, making the inflation situation worse.
THURSDAY: U.S. jobless claims and mortgage rates. More signs of weakness could increase recession concerns.
FRIDAY: S&P Global Manufacturing and Services PMI. This will show whether business activity is slowing while inflation pressures remain high and bond yields hit multi-decade highs.
And all of this is happening a week before the Fed's October 27–28 meeting.
With inflation rising, bond yields above 5%, and AI stocks already under pressure, next week could bring another major market selloff.
