This semi-synthetic opioid is derived from kratom and can be found in products sold in smoke shops and gas stations, including this product called: Uncaria Tomentosa or “cat’s claw.”
To all San Franciscans:
➡️ Never take drugs that have not been prescribed to you by a doctor.
➡️ Narcan can reverse an opioid overdose, including MGM-15, when given in time.
➡️ If you suspect an overdose, administer Narcan immediately and call 911.
➡️ If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use, help is available.
Effective treatment and support are available by talking to your doctor or reaching out to San Francisco Department of Public Health programs for help at 888-246-3333.
