Gene Wu is what we call a boba lib - a high-status Asian progressive who is soft on crime, for open borders, and exploits racial grievances to dismantle America which he says is defined by white supremacy and racism.
Unsurprisingly, like all woke Asians, he has nothing to say at all about America's geopolitical rival.
Wu goes way further. He was involved with the Houston Chinese consulate which Trump shut down in 2020 due to subversive espionage activity. His father has been linked to a group of former Red Guards from Mao's Cultural Revolution era who spout pro-CCP propaganda.
He is a fifth columnist and he is now the leader of the Texas House of Representatives.

I think in the current era of culture, the masses really underestimate the power of ignoring something into non existence. To starve a thing of attention to the point where it practically may as well have never existed in the first place. In my opinion, this a more complete form of “death” than “cancelling” something or bringing it low. No trace left to be found at all. Total erasure

Bo French’s tweet was seen as a racial attack on Indians. The marginal gains republicans had seen with Indian voters were reversed. To many this seemed to enforce French’s point, that the ethnic interests of Indians mattered more than their political values. It seemed both French was right and Indian voters were acting rationally.
French was not the only Texas politician to talk about racial interests. Gene Wu, Democrat, gave an interview where he explicitly said white people are the oppressors and it’s in the interests of black Latino and Asians to come together to take over the country, to fight the oppressors. This of course is exactly what French said, but instead of condemning it, it was stated as a positive political vision. That racial interests override political ones, and that democracy ends up an ethnic head count. Wu is now the majority leader in the Texas State house. It seems this is how minority groups feel. They do vote for their ethnic interests above all else, and they view white people as the enemy. French is right to be concerned as his ethnic group becomes smaller and smaller. Especially when the political leadership of the other side explicitly lays this out.
I talked to some of my cousins in Texas last night about Bo French. Indian Americans, conservative evangelical Christians, lifelong Republicans. Basically me, except they wear Cowboys jerseys instead of 49ers jerseys.
The older folks didn’t fully understand his comments because of the language barrier. The younger folks saw the posts on their phones and were pissed.
These are families raising 4.0 students, valedictorians & salutatorians who earned their way into UT. We are supposed to be the party of merit, and here’s a guy on our ticket treating American kids like garbage..
You can argue taxes or public safety all day long, but once you start questioning whether their honor roll kids even belong in their own country, these voters don’t care what else you are selling. Buy all the TV, digital and mail you want. Cool. Good luck with that.
Please, nominate normal people, even for the most obscure office. There’s a downticket impact.

Texas is 40% white and 40% Hispanic, and we've seen virtually zero in-migration or change in that under Trump.
PLEASE do not run with this hyper-online narrative that an "Indian invasion" - TX is 1% Indian American - caused the GOP loss.
"This is not the same country it was even six years ago. Everybody is looking at Texas starting to go Blue. This is something people have been warning about for decades. The demographic situation in Texas has changed." - @JohnDoyle

An Indian can be a lifelong Republican but will vote straight Democrat if you even SUGGEST that we need to reduce Indian immigration.
Thats a hostage situation.
I, a lifelong Republican, voted against every Republican on my ballot who endorsed @BoFrench: Abbott, Paxton, Dawn Buckingham, and French himself. All 4 of them lost last night.

The mission statements are totally different. Their job is to destroy, which is very easy and can be done slowly over time like termites, one or 2 or 5 setbacks means nothing. We're holding the gate shut while the enemy beats down the door. They get in once and its over.
Ever since the internet was born, I’ve seen the pattern repeat: when the Right loses, it’s over. America is doomed. It’s hopeless. We’re cooked. We’re not voting our way out of this. All that’s left is civil war (can your fat ass even haul a ruck down the block without getting winded?)
I’ve never seen that from the Left. They never give up. Not one of them said, “It’s OVER,” when Trump won in 2016. They made up Russiagate, stole the 2020 election, and held on through Trump’s second victory until last night.
You don’t have to comment publicly, but maybe the Left just wants it more. They love their vision of America as the world’s favela more than you love your vision of America. And if that’s the case, then stop following politics, for the sake of your mental health. It’s not going to “pop off.” There’s not going to be a second Caesar or Hitler. Your day to day life is just going to gradually get shittier forever, until you die alone, of neglect, in the nursing home where your transgender son and OF daughter sent you. If you even had children.
I don’t mind big brained takes on why Republicans lost, but GTFO with dooming. It’s not over. We’re not cooked. We survived eight years of Obama and four years of Biden. We’ll survive two years of a Democratic Congress with a Republican president. Start thinking of how to do better next time. Or troon out and cut your dick off. It’s your choice.

Going back to this tweet because it’s extra funny now. The Trump II coalition gave Jews control of foreign policy and racists control of immigration, and immigration is the only issue voters still prefer Republicans on

Abolition is not really the abolition of prisons per se, it’s the abolition of human sin. This is why these people are so dangerous. They’re heading down the same utopian path that leads to full collapse every time and they’re too stupid/ arrogant to admit they’re wrong.

Being on the right has nothing to do with being this eternally retreating "conservative"—a progressively fake moniker for someone who is actually just a coward and a scold—that admonishes youth for taking risks and leaning into danger, preventing them at every turn from taking on great responsibility. The Right is ultimately an acknowledgement of nature, and to that end an explicit permission structure to allow exceptional people to do exceptional things, because they are exceptional and better than others.
Aside from the increasingly lacking manufacturing and maintenance standards in aviation, it's my understanding that flight schools are suffering a degradation in that the military expertise which once undergirded and buttressed the industry is increasingly being outweighed by a purely commercial scene of flight instructors with relatively limited flight time, training people from the ground up; it's a trend of the blind leading the blind.
There are many more things worthy of invective here than the age of this woman, or even the fact that she is a woman. There's an opportunity to ignite a push for a cultural shift in how we organize this industry. The people graduating out of these flight schools ought to be clearly and definitively exceptional, and carry with it the prestige once afforded to pilots as the gods they once were in the previous century. The idea of proliferating flight in the manner you would regard a slightly more advanced bus driver is the epitome of a third world mentality. We should expect MORE from people, almost always. And if they can't hack it, then they have no business piloting anything.
