IQ maxxing is very simple when you have the right habits:
1) think through what you need to do that day, so you act intentionally
2) do one cognitively hard thing daily: coding, math, writing, building, or whatever is tied to your real goals
3) build things with feedback loops and let reality correct you
4) write every day to force yourself to articulate thoughts precisely
5) read smart minds, then reflect and write instead of just consuming
6) make predictions + review them. it trains calibration instead of hindsight
7) protect your attention, exercise, and sleep properly
it's mostly about designing your life around your brain getting constant reps + feedback.
you get smarter by thinking, being wrong, and iterating.
dawg leaked the method 😭
buy .si domains with names from 70s, 80s and 90s futuristic sci-fi
ai founders keep naming their companies after that era
recursive.si sold for $20k this year, and most of those names are still sitting at morning’s coffee price

Calculus is a total waste of time. Learning it was the single best decision of my machine learning career.

Finally setup my brand new home Linux server for AI agents 🥳
After initially using my base m4 Mac mini, I decided it was time to get a proper machine.
I use remote agents more than I ever thought I would, I like not needing my laptop to be on/awake

Giving audio previews on Strata some love 🎧
New: press < and > to jump to the previous/next song, skipping anything that isn't audio. j and k still step through every file.
Of course, animations can be disabled, it follows your Omarchy theme as well. github.com/lgse/strata

Primetih nešto: programere i dizajnere čiji su proizvodi postali kompanije, a uz put oni prestali aktivno da programiraju i dizajniraju. Prešli da se bave biznisom i ljudima. Sada ponovo počeli da prave softver zahvaljuhući agentima. Obratite pažnju na njih. To su mađioničari!

I know about 5 people from my class of 800 at IITK who’ve done what Peter Thiel recommends here.
Not one of those 5 has a single strand of grey on their body or any material reason to be unhappy with their work or how much more or less money they make compared to the rest.
Peter Thiel on how you should think about your future:
"What you end up doing when you think of the future as indefinite is you pick a job that you think will look good on your resume, because it will lead to a different job later on. There's even a credentialing version where you go to grad school, you get a consulting job, and you think of it as this branching tree diagram where you never really do something that you want to do.
You can think of the future on three horizons. Very short-term is: are you going to be happy, and will you be learning a lot? Medium-term is: how good is it on your resume? And very long-term is: are you working on something important or meaningful? We're in a skewed world where we overweight the medium-term and underweight some combination of the short-term and the long-term. I would recalibrate to focus on the short-term and the long-term, and forget about the medium-term."

The perfect trinity of technical upskilling:
1. Math chops
2. Coding chops
3. Deep domain expertise in another discipline
You want all three of those, not just one or two.
