I decided to quit fighting the battle. Last year they gave me a personal item (shoe, hoodie, etc) for a pencil. This year I have these at every seat and do a quick glance at each seat before dismissing 🤷🏼♀️ I go through about 3 packs a month doing it like this. And serve 100 kids a day.
