I've been quietly building this for a long time. It's finally live. Built on WebGPU with three.js & TSL. 5 real-time scenes, every transition computed on the GPU, plus one thing you'll have to find yourself. Designed by @xibasstihan. mathis-biabiany.fr How it's made 🧵⤵️

Great time at KIKK Festival in Namur, Belgium! With @JustineSoulie , we had the chance to give a talk about Ponpon Mania and collaborate with Meurisse on limited-edition chocolate packaging for the festival. Thanks to the @Kikk_Festival team for having us

Okay, everyone has been sharing what they’ve built with Opus 5.5, so I finally bit the bullet and gave it a try. This is my first project: My Mini Houdini. I started building it last Friday, and this is where it’s at so far. Shading: Basic unlit, basic realtime, and realtime+ with contact shadows, post, etc. There’s also a basic path tracer with OIDN denoising. Node Graphics: For geometry creation, I currently have model import and export, curves, grids, boxes, circles, spheres, lines, tubes, torus, test geometry and more. There are quite a few modifiers in there already that I haven’t even properly tried yet. Copy to Point, Packing and Sweep are also working in a basic form. There’s a Solver too, although it’s still a bit funky. I need to figure out a better caching structure for it. I’ve also added a Compute node and a JavaScript node. I decided to keep pretty much everything on the GPU, so this isn’t really designed for massive geometry or heavy simulation. Cache budget can become a problem pretty quickly. All geometry data stays inside compute buffers, with a hash table handling string attributes. Material / Shading: MaterialX for now. Still very early, it is an electron app. Just a fun pet project. I am impressed.

Wrote up a lit GPU tubes article for @codrops . Highly inspired by makio-meshline from @makio64. This article is part of the Codrops countdown to the first @threejsconf in Paris 🇫🇷. See you there!
🇫🇷 The @threejsconf celebration keeps shining a light on the incredible people behind the creative WebGL scene! Today we’re thrilled to feature @MathisBiabiany and his mesmerizing exploration of lit GPU tubes with TSL & WebGPU. From 1,500+ strands to some seriously tricky vector maths, this is a beautiful deep dive into the craft behind the experiment: tympanus.net/codrops/2026/09…

Excited to release a new collection of shader patterns for GlitchWear. 🌀 . Mix them. Edit them. Layer them. Tear them apart. . They’re designed as building blocks for your own creations. . Built on @danzeeeeman's incredible platform. And powered by @lygia_xyz. . Make something weird. Then share it with us. 👀 . glitchwear.store/pages/patri…

Portfolio scene breakdown #3: Lab 🌋 A brutalist gate standing in a blood-red mirror pool, deep in a fogged canyon. The portal is a carousel of my WebGL/GPU experiments — framed by a rim of living fire. WebGPU + @threejs TSL. Art direction + tech 🧵👇

7/8 — Set dressing tricks The canyon walls are Draco+KTX2 compressed, instanced along both flanks. Gotcha worth sharing: the GLB ships quantized INT16 positions, and Three's translate/scale silently corrupts the pivot on those. Fix: decode to float, bake the node matrix, re-pin the origin. The 3,000-slab rubble field is scattered with a seeded RNG — art-directed density zones, stable layout on every reload.

8/8 — Conclusion Also in there: a red reflection pool rendered as a second scene pass, perf tiers that trade reflections/embers/rubble on weaker devices, and a camera that auto-dollies back so the gate never crops on narrow screens. One scene of my portfolio — live here → nitter.cf/MathisBiabiany/status/… #threejs #tsl #webgpu

You probably know Muzli as the design inspiration extension. But there’s another side to Muzli. Muzli Me is where designers and creators share their work, build their creative identity, and get discovered. And no, we don’t mean just design shots. It’s not 2010 anymore :) Live websites, design shots, tools, assets, articles, experiments, creative posts from your social feeds, and pretty much anything interesting made by our growing creative community. And every month, some of that work makes its way into Muzli Picks, our own little hall of fame for great design. This August, 16 projects from the Muzli Me community made the list: @slavakornilov , Tokyo Olympic Game @jesper_alpacka, Portfolio @CaptXcellent , Kitbitz @McGreenBeats , Beat Machine @sindhur_dutta , BUNQ LABS @gabrielbgnn , Portfolio @MathisBiabiany , Portfolio Gabriel Tinoco , @Cherry_Bomb_Co @chopei_iv , Era Residence @bleibtgleich , bleibtgleich'26 Fadi Alagi, Twin Phone Huy Phan, Huyml Vol.2 Maria Vasilyeva, Portfolio Dylan Brouwer, EverWonder Studio Léo Parpeix, Portfolio Jose Rago, USAvionix Congrats to everyone who made the list. And if you’re not on Muzli.Me yet, you’re invited. No invitation needed. Just good work.
