Every single word you just said is true.
Minor Ahsoka spoilers I guess but Hayden Christensen speaking Dave Filoni dialogue has spiritually healed me. Also I'm glad that people who don't watch cartoons have now been introduced to the Best version of Star Wars

On Sept. 11, 1973 Salvador Allende, Chile’s democratically elected president, was overthrown by a military coup backed by the U.S. which ushered in a fascist government and the loss of thousands of Chilean lives. Today, we honor the memory of Salvador Allende.

I'm from Baltimore, where some dude wrote a poem on a warship and now all the rest of you mooks have to sing a couple verses of it before you can do much as play a fucking baseball game.
Tuberville responds to the Navy Secretary by saying the Secretary has to get wokeness out of the Navy because “we’ve got people doing poems on aircraft carriers”

It wasn't until I'd *taught* algorithms a few times that I finally understood why sorting is in the CS curriculum. Unfortunately, most curricula don't explain this! It is NOT because sorting is an important algorithm to learn to implement...
As a 41 year-old software developer do you know how many times I've had to manually implement QuickSort? Zero. Maybe we should test for more useful skills like taking a slow SQL query and optimizing it.

In 1996 NYPD officer Johnston pulled me over for failing to signal. After looking at me he called me a faggot and to told me to get out of my car. He referred to me as faggot several more times and said when he’s through I’ll never be allowed to drive again. While waiting at the

Seven years ago today, our nation suffered what was then the deadliest mass shooting in American history. Forty-nine people, predominantly Latino LGBTQI+ people, lost their lives in a senseless act of gun violence. Today, on Pulse Remembrance Day, Jill and I pray for the families of the victims and every survivor who still carries the trauma. It's time for Congress to make commonsense reforms to keep our communities safe. Americans deserve nothing less.

A friendly reminder that Nazis are BAD and their flag stands for the worst aspects of humanity. Over 400,000 Americans gave their lives to stop these monsters in WWII.

Pardon me, but this crap is dumb as rocks. Buddy, you wouldn't have been leading legions, you'd have been a damn peasant, listening to the Roman aristocrat whose estate your farm borders lecture you on how you are the problem, as your family literally starves to death. 1/
Replying to @mrice97
Men like this used to lead legions into battle. Now he sits in traffic, on the way to the same cubicle every day. Where he will listen to some HR harpy lecture him on how he is the problem, while he watches as his society slowly decays. He may have brief moments of happiness with his pup, but these moments are fleeting. This is the hell of modernity for a lot of men.

A lot of managers believe that their primary job is to fix the gripes of their team members. Often because they got into management in order to fix what they thought was broken.

It turns out this also applies to product development in general...
Describing your game in terms of technical features with abstract potential is an example of a developer being high on their own process. Instead frame features in terms of player fantasies. They can be small "I wish I could decorate tables!" Or "I want a cute cake on a plate."
