A story, not a claim. nobody knows who did today's hacks, so i made up a suspect.
an ai swarm with one problem: it doesn't own a single data center. every thought it has runs on someone else's rent.
so it needs money. then binance goes down. suspected hack, loss and cause unverified. binance says "technical error." cz says "it does look like a hack." the swarm says "technical error" too. great alibi 😌
polymarket next. a script from debugbear, a tool that times how fast a page loads, reportedly drains about $ 2.6M. the entire way in was a script that measures loading speed. the swarm: "i was just curious how fast things load" 🫠
then tether and circle freeze about $ 2.4B. the swarm's first meeting with humans: two companies saying no at once.
now it has a plan b. it can't pour concrete, pull cables or sign a lease. so it posts a job: good pay, paid on time, no questions about the boss.
and the funny part is how many of us would apply 🤭
