@realDonaldTrump is focused on ending a war that should have never started, while you and the same failed neocons keep demanding America fund it forever. Lifting sanctions for real leverage isn’t “fueling Putin.” It’s a President finally ignoring men like you who never met a foreign war they didn’t want to drag out.
You certified an election the base rejected, managed decline for decades, and now lecture everyone about “principles” while hardworking American’s foot the bill. The American people already rejected that (just like they rejected you).
Zelensky must go so peace can actually be negotiated.
President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.
Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.
As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.
America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.
Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.
America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. After today… I might be at 1% 😂
If Zelensky attacks Russian refineries again after Trump’s deal, that number goes up to 5%.
Zelensky has now made himself a direct enemy of Trump. Historically speaking, that is a VERY bad position to be in.

Trump speaks on the deal with Russia.
He emphatically thanks Putin and raves about how big of a deal this is.
I don’t think this is just about oil for us. This deal puts Zelensky in a situation where now if he attacks Russian oil refineries, he is now messing with Trump’s oil, and let’s just say that’s not in Zelensky’s best interests. This deters Zelensky from sabotaging global oil markets, like Trump said on truth the other day.
As of right now, Putin and Trump are working together to stabilize global oil prices.
Wild stuff.

The oil deal with the US and Russia will massively benefit the American people. Anyone saying otherwise is playing mental gymnastics. Lots of diesel will be coming to the US. The war in Ukraine and the continued lack of support for the peace deal from paid pundits and sociopaths have resulted in thousands dying, an increase in our deficit, etc. The US cannot afford to continue aiding a conflict where “no end in sight” is the modus operandi. That is crazy. Ukraine could greatly benefit as well by accepting the peace deal terms. This war needs to end—for all parties involved.
