Exact same vibe. Exact same entitlement. Exact same variety of asshole. Canada needs a big fucking reset.

This is so hard to watch. Vassy's got the finance minister on the run, but she just won't finish him off. I'll do a thread on the budget tomorrow, complete with a decade of trends. You'll see how bad Ottawa's fiances are, and how none of his explanations make sense. There's no World where adding $60 billion in deficit to an existing multi-trillion dollar dept makes sense, especially when we're never paying off the house (to use his analogy). François-Philippe Champagne is a lawyer who spent years as corporate counsel at ABB and Amec. That’s it. No economics degree, no banking, no finance portfolio, no private-sector profit & loss responsibility. Now he’s Finance Minister running $70-billion deficits and talking about “productivity” while debt service eats everything. A guy who never managed a balance sheet is in charge of Canada’s. All he's got are pure Liberal credentials: loyalty, bilingualism, and a resume that looks impressive until you notice it has nothing to do with the job.

Please stop telling me the porn industry isn't abusive. It is. All of it. The whole thing. Stop the cope. nitter.cf/xbtnuar/status/2117958…
Porn star Jessie Rogers was 18 when a director forced brooms and bananas inside her for hours until she was swollen shut and crying on camera - then told her she wouldn't get paid if she stopped. A male performer raped her off set. Another beat her head against the floor until she bled, choked her unconscious twice, and locked her in a bathroom. She contracted herpes on set. Over 10 urgent care visits. When she told her agent she'd been raped, he stared at her blankly and said: "So, did you guys have fun?" She found the ad on Craigslist when she was 17. An agent called and said it straight - it's porn. She was booked for her first shoot the day after her 18th birthday. A Penthouse spread. Her first few scenes were awkward but fine. She thought she could handle it. The solo shoot on the East Coast was where it started. The director made her insert objects - brooms, bananas, whatever was around - for hours. Her body swelled. She was in real pain, sobbing on camera, begging to stop. He said: we won't pay you if you stop now. She kept going. Back in LA, her agent kept booking her even when she was sick. She trusted one male performer enough to see him outside of work. The last time they were together, he raped her. She says it herself: "The way we had sex the last time I saw him - it wasn't consensual." She went to her agent and told him what happened. He stared at her with a completely blank face. Then he said: "So, did you guys have fun?" That was the day she quit. Years later she stood in front of the California State Assembly and testified for a bill requiring condoms on porn sets. She told legislators what no one in the industry wanted them to hear. She walked into porn at 18 through a Craigslist ad. By the time she walked out, she'd been raped, beaten, infected, and ignored - and the man responsible for her career asked if she had fun. Does the porn industry protect its performers, or does it just replace the ones it breaks?

This guy who works at a sugar mill in Canada just admitted that he walks through the sugar in his bare feet to “assert his dominance” What is he accomplishing by admitting this disgusting behavior?

He's a man
Mr Imane Khelif will once again be punching a woman in the head in a boxing ring on December 15. He gets to do this because as a professional boxer he is eligible to compete against women in many countries. He was never accused of being transgender, he's a man, that's it.

Maybe if you speak louder and repeat it over and over, people will pay attention. Oh wait - that only works in Parliament.

For anyone who still thinks PMMC is a fiscal conservative disguised as a Liberal, check out the weekly CBC gabfest.
You know it’s bad when even Althia Raj has to admit the federal government has left Canada with no real fiscal room for any unexpected shock—spending and tax cuts at crisis levels while debt service steadily crowds out health care, long-term care, and productivity investments On the CBC’s At Issue panel, the people paid to hold power to account, Coyne flags the pre-election spending binge and government intrusion into work the private sector can finance, Raj agrees the budget isn’t prudent, and then the whole thing collapses into banter and a joke about fiscal-conservative credentials It isn’t funny. These are the journalists who spent years normalizing abandoned anchors and ever-larger deficits; when the cupboard is finally bare even they can see it, the reaction is still studio chuckling instead of sustained pressure. That is the real failure of accountability @acoyne @althiaraj @RosieBarton

How liberals can support the subjugation of women is beyond me.
Abdul El-Sayed and his wife. He wears jeans and tight shirts, while she has to dress like a Bedouin from the 7th century. This is what women’s oppression looks like.

Society doesn't collapse if the population shrinks for a while. In many ways, it gets better. A population recession is exactly what Canada needs ... and it's why our elites are so terrified of it ever coming to pass.

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden has responded to Macklemore's claim that he was blocked from booking his "Free Palestine" show at the venue. "We have some of the busiest venues in the world with extremely limited availability and he's not an arena level act."

So Blacklock’s recently found out through the freedom of information act that Carney will soon be inserting a video of himself halfway into citizenship swearing in ceremonies. This is supposed to be a non-partisan event, but I guess the Liberals figured it would be a good way to promote dear leader and the Liberals. This party is shameless.

Listen to my brother Larry.
So the University of Toronto wants us to believe the dean of dentistry had "limited knowledge" of antisemitic imagery and theories to go with. Come on. The same lecture, with the same images, had been given to second-year students for several years as noted by the Jewish Medical Dental Association of Ontario as reported by CTV. That's not a slip. He picked those cartoons, put them in his slides, and kept using them year after year. One of them was a beak-nosed caricature sitting in a tub of money, which is about as old and recognizable as this hatred gets. So I'd like someone to tell me what, exactly, Dr. Kishen thought he was looking at. What did he think that image depicted? What "visual analogy" was he drawing? The provost's letter never says. It just asks us to take "limited knowledge" on faith, and I won't. And who gave him this antisemitism training? The letter says he "has undergone training" and "learned a great deal." Learned from whom? How long was it? Who vouched for it? Without that, it's PR dressed up as accountability. Then there's the line that he'll "remain a tenured faculty member" and be back to full duties in 2027-28. Who cares that he's tenured? Tenure exists to protect academic freedom, not to shield a man who put classic Jew-hatred in front of students, Jewish students among them, calling it a learning experience. He should be terminated. The university's own letter admits the slides contain antisemitic imagery and that the Faculty is deeply divided over it. Giving him a quiet year off and a comeback is not a consequence. A resignation from a job he already stepped away from in February isn't a sanction either. Let's not call this a win against antisemitism. It's a university protecting its own. Jewish groups, the Jewish dental community included, shouldn't thank anyone for this. They should demand his removal from the institution entirely, and accept nothing less. And here's what should concern everyone, not just Jews. If this is the standard, a few training sessions, a "limited knowledge" excuse, and a comeback after a year off, then that's the standard for everyone. Any other religion or culture that finds itself targeted by a faculty member at U of T shouldn't expect anything more than this. No firing, no real consequences, just a letter about "learning" and "healing." The university has now shown exactly how far it will go, and that's the bar it has set for every community on campus.
