I’m incredibly excited to announce Cohort 1 of The Super Contributor Method.
Across the teams we work with at HQ, one thing keeps showing up: the gap between people who use AI well in their work and everyone else keeps getting wider.
Most people don’t even know what’s possible now with the best models.
The people who use them well are getting more done and creating more value.
The Super Contributor Method is four weeks of live sessions, office hours, and hands-on help.
Plus guest sessions with experts like:
@codyplof: Legendary former CEO of Jones Road Beauty, now building new AI-native brands.
@alexgoughcooper: Co-founder of Parker AI and Adcrate, the ad agency he took from zero to seven figures in twelve months.
@r0rymclaughlan: CEO of Shirt in a Box, whose team’s AI systems hand back about 1,500 hours a year.
@VibeMarketer_: AI marketer who leads implementation at HQ, building AI systems on the ground.
Over the four weeks, we’ll take you from wherever you are now to mastering AI and becoming a Super Contributor. Most importantly, we’ll be there to help you along the way and clear the bottlenecks and friction points that stopped you before.
+ We're offering a money back guarantee if we do not unlock AI for you.
We start November 10. I’m really excited about this one, and I hope you join us.

Like @soundslikecanoe said in a recent pod “Anything you want is possible”
My goal with this batch of interviews is to GRILL THEM
Too many times I’ve been over promised on resource, led on about scope, set up for failure — and SUCCEEDED despite of this
Imagine what I’ll be able to do with a truthful leader, great product, and an ounce of autonomy 🔥
Getting a healthy amount of interest back from a few recent applications:
Head of growth
Marketing manager
VP of ecomm
Ecomm director
If you’re brand, agency, or SaaS hiring in DTC/eCommerce… let me know!
Life circumstances changed and am pursing a FTE or fractional role
This is one perk of being 6’4”ish
Hire me to help with your most mundane
or ideally…
complex, complicated, multi layered growth/ops problems
I will obsess over learning and providing shareholder and customer value
I have been misunderstood, not taken seriously, undermined, had my ideas taken and seniors and superiors and interviewers of other jobs take my ideas and run with them
But you can’t have the sauce without the chef
Im gonna show up and keep marketing and building for humans 👊

I’ve been sitting on an idea for a while.
I think it could meaningfully change how brands approach LTV, retention, and eventually acquisition. To my knowledge, it’s never been done this way. Blue ocean, as they say (advantage to you).
Recently, I’ve been tinkering on it with a couple of the sharpest people I worked with at KnoCommerce.
We’re looking for a few brands willing to experiment with us. Who’s interested?

AI is making your brand mediocre.
That’s why I’m launching @TheStartersHQ: the human layer behind your business.
We give you direct access to the people who have built category-defining brands so you can:
➔ Learn from their expertise
➔ Consult 1:1 with them
➔ Hire them to execute for you
Because as AI makes execution cheaper...
Human brilliance becomes priceless.

I need your help with this thing I’m overthinking lately:
What are the pros and cons of posting a podcast on YouTube under the podcast channel vs my personal account?
For context, I recently started posting on Instagram and TikTok on my personal account, and I also have a channel for my pod on YouTube, but the pod doesn’t have social channels so I end up posting clips on my personal accounts to promote it.
I really don’t want to create social accounts for the pod outside of YoTube because it will be way too much work to create content for this AND my accounts.
All accounts are fairly small so I don’t care if let’s say I started posting the new episodes on my personal YouTube channel and just consolidate everything there.
Feels like the only pro for keeping it separate is that if at some point I want to sell my company, the pod would be able to be a part of the deal.
But I guess I could just launch the channel later if we got to that stage?
Other than that I don’t see any reason for keeping it separate.
I don’t want to monetize it, the only reason for having the pod is to create useful content that gets us leads, which btw is already doing at only 20-ish subscribers lol
Thoughts?

Who is the best demand planner / inventory forecaster you know?
Looking to pay for 1-2 hour consulting sessions with a few people.
1 take yapper-ish style '3 reasons why' as part of our application to Barry's coder role
didn't think a sticky note static ad would suffice
if not Barry, let us help you build your software!
either something you already have that you want a dedicated team on, or from scratch
The biggest mistake I've made in the last 5 years is keeping my team tiny.
In past jobs, I led multiple large teams, but after doing that for so many years, I got tired of it, so when I went out on my own, I kept my team small.
Now I'm seeing more and more that staying lean has only held me back, especially with getting @urlloveit_ off the ground.
Soooo, now I’m opening up a couple of roles for the best people to join my tiny team.
Top priority: 1 world-class media buyer with an interest in and understanding of creative and CRO, and maybe 1-2 media buyers who want to become world-class.
2nd priority: mid- to senior-level coder/developer and/or someone who's great at vibecoding and loves doing it.
3rd priority: marketing generalist/coordinator who can wear many hats.
If you’re interested in any of the above or see yourself working well with me in any capacity, now's your time to shoot your shot:

And we are a @LAUNCH company. 100% money back guarantee if HQ doesn’t blow your claws and sprawl of knowledge bases and bots out of the water.

We have bots that run on grok, Claude, and codex on your sub, locally or in the cloud, available in slack, telegram, email, iMessage etc. each with federated access to your team and an identity. And you connect outside bots to the same infrastructure. Everything you have done to this point will seem like a build up to what we have at HQ
