If you’re more mad at the Mets fans last night for cheering for Pete Alonso than you are at the Mets themselves, if you were continuing to go frolic at Citi over the summer when the season was lost for “vibes ✨” or promo nights, you are worse than the fans cheering for Pete last night, just in a different font.
I want to see these guys pissed off. I want to see them think “damn, our fans are really that upset?” Stop giving in and rolling over the second guys look the least bit upset because it might hurt their feelings. Every year there’s a team of dogs who doesn’t give a fuck who they play and it’s never mine. Most of the fanbase enables that.
