🏃♂️#LondonMarathon complete in 3:16:08
Every muscle in my body aches, utterly destroyed
Ran possibly my worst ever race but delighted with the time & proud of myself for not giving up when it was incredibly hard &
An unbelievable, unforgettable experience #londonmarathon2024

ALT Matt standing in a white top with his London Marathon medal in one hand and a thumbs up on the other. The top says 'Matt' with his bib number 47219 and he's wearing black shorts. White socks can just be seen. In the background are loads of people and a statue on a plinth and tall buildings on either side .
Crystal Palace manager Pierre Sage is set to be given more time to turn things around despite a heavy defeat by Brighton.
Palace not currently minded to make an immediate change but Sage's position remains under serious scrutiny. #CPFC

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta’s hopes of a move away this summer are in doubt after he sustained a hamstring injury.
Mateta will miss Palace’s first home game of the season on Friday night against Manchester City after picking up the injury during training and he is expected to be out for around four weeks, according to sources briefed on the problem who speak anonymously as they were not authorised to do so publicly.

For once, Oliver Glasner could shift his focus and listen to the noise spilling out from every corner of Selhurst Park. He knew his Crystal Palace team had done what they needed to do on the pitch and he could simply take in the moment.
This was the moment Palace reached the UEFA Conference League final. Selhurst Park had not witnessed anything of the like in its 102-year history.
