Generative AI is a big NO
AI being used for coding purposes? Sure but carefully.
I hope to GOD they look over their work and are fully testing the game if they’re using AI.

Maybe Im too woke but I feel like a lot of people are focusing too hard on the canon networking stuff and not the homophobic, transphobic and racist stuff

Procrastination tip that helps me
While working on whatever you're working on. Set a stopwatch. Every time you procrastinate, pause the timer.
You cannot stop working until the timer says 8 hours.
Of course if you have school or job, make it 4 hours, etc.
Hardest part about AI is that some things are done well AND will be consumed by people at large.
I like the "AI is great as a tool" argument because we get cool mods like this.
But it also opens the flood gates for AI to be used for slop and generative nonsense with no creativity. Which is unfortunately 95% of cases. I'd rather have no AI than to have SOME good done with it, with a billion terrible art pieces.
Tbh, I hope the bubble pops. Because I want to avoid the dilemma completely. With a tool this powerful, it's impossible to keep it out of human's hands. So eventually we'll all be forced to purchase products that use it. I just really hope in a world with AI, humans remain important.
Once humans are no longer important, we'll be treated as such.
I've been editing videos ever since I was 10. It kinda annoys me that someone can use ai to make 10 video essays a month and completely dominate the competition. While I edit with every bit of free time I get after working a full time job, and only get 2 videos out a month.
This is the final step in monetizing and turning every single thing in the world into a money making game. Art is no longer art, just put out the slop for entertainment and get paid and go home.
From a casual perspective I understand the take. Play a “good” game find out it sucks.
But I do think Sonic fans are “onto something” when they glaze.
Very few people are calling Sonic 06 a 10/10, or a good game. But is the ambition, soundtrack, and level design good, yea.
