Worse, as HS2 trains won't tilt they'll be limited to 110mph on the WCML, current Pendolinos do 125mph, so it'll actually *reduce* capacity and partly negate the time saving, too. All masterfully explained by @stefatrail in the current @RAIL editorial.

@NetworkRailBHM this is getting ridiculous now. @theSESGROUP closing off platform 4C with a barrier and creating this stupid one way system delaying trains, and making the overcrowding worse next to the stairwell.
