I’ve already mentally checked out of football, not sure why, maybe because I went and watched us all over Europe with the boys and that can’t really be topped. Not even saying this because we’re shit, I’d feel the same if we were top. Because for every Max Dowman in football, 1000s of bricklayers, hammerthrowers and yard dogs are running around in the lower leagues who will never make it beyond their current levels. Top technical players should obviously have some degree of protection.
