The best Lions edit I’ve ever seen and this will be pinned until the Lions win the Super Bowl!
Stadium is also known for slipping an injuries. Praying we stay healthy.
#DETvsAZ officiating crew cheat sheet
HOME teams are 4-0 w' referee Carl Cheffers in 2026
Over the past decade, HOME UNDERDOGS are 29-18-3 ATS (63%) w' Cheffers, including 2-0 SU & ATS in 2026
Cheffers' crew currently rank No.1 in in DEFENSIVE penalty per game avg
A by-product of elevated defensive penalties, this crew rank No.1 awarding AUTOMATIC 1st DOWNS via penalty
The #Lions defense ranks as a top 10 unit surrendering AUTO 1st downs via penalty
Both @Lions & @AZCardinals defenses rank as top 10 penalized units for DEFENSIVE PASS INTERFERENCE
Through 4 games in 2026, Carl Cheffers' crew rank No.1 for DEFENSIVE PASS INTERFERENCE
If you liked the over in this match-up, these penalty numbers definitely help the possibility of a higher scoring game, with both defensive units susceptible to surrendering cheap yardage via penalty
As for the side, its difficult to back Detroit laying points when their defense is a liability
Arizona has their own issues defensively as well
We'll see some of the #NFL's premier skill position talent on the field for this game & all signs point to a shootout in the desert
I lean to the #Cardinals +5.5 at home in a back n forth contest, where whoever has the ball last likely pulls out a win

Take notes Dan
A change: #Texans HC DeMeco Ryans announced that he is taking over defensive play-calling duties from DC Matt Burke following the team’s 0-4 start.
Ryans says he’s looking to provide a spark.
Just heard someone say Todd Bowles for DC and I’d love that. Again, we need a fired HC who’s a DC. Also, his defenses in 23 and 24 were awesome. Only team to hold our 2024 historic offense to under 20.
Omg
REPORT: Chiefs CB Kristian Fulton is listed as a potential trade candidate to help the Lions defense, per @JFowlerESPN
This was my theory. I think the offense is playing so conservative and trying to be methodical so they don’t give the defense the ball back quickly. Colinsworth said that we barely take shots downfield because we are also trying to turn the ball over as little as possible.
Sadly a 70% branch won’t fix the defense
The #Lions will designate S Brian Branch (Achilles) and C Cade Mays (wrist) to return from IR/PUP, and both will begin practicing this week.
Major reinforcements for a team that badly needs them.
I feel bad for Dan. You can hear it in his voice that he feels helpless and that he can’t fix these issues. We should make him GM and hire a defensive minded HC.
I’m gonna say something that’s gonna upset a lot of fans:
For the first time today I think it truly hit me that I’d rather have Ben Johnson than Dan Campbell as our long term HC.
Production on ‘The Batman 2’ has been paused
Matt Reeves has stepped away for personal reasons
